So now Real are getting investigated (or prob just catalan newspaper slinging shit) like Barca for signing under age players, does that mean this one's a go?
Yeah I can see this too. Tbh though, if (and I mean a big if) Real sold Bale to us because they acquired Rues, I actually think Bale would be a better fit for us due to that pace and power. If he does end up going to madrid I can see them letting go of Bale. Reus is a better player IMO, or more talented and creative but not as strong and fast (still a quick player though). Also on the whole they'd end up buying him for 20m, selling bale for like at least 80m, and they'd end up with a better player probably.
Don't think there's any chance of us bringing in Reus so I hope we take advantage of whenever he goes and buy some other class player in his position like Isco or bale.
El confidential and Mundo Deportivo say they can guarantee Reus will play for Real Madrid, according to that Rafael Hernandez fella.
Strange move on Madrid's behalf, is he any better than Gareth? Surely one of Bale/Isco/James will make way.
Marco Reus’ agent has denied speculation claiming the Borussia Dortmund winger has reached a deal with Real Madrid, reports the Daily Express.
Reports from Spain had suggested Reus had agreed a five-year deal to join the European champions at the end of the season, but his agent Dirk Hebel has insisted the claims are “blatant nonsense”.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has also dismissed the claims, adding: ”There is nothing to it.”
Reus has grown into of the most dangerous attacking players around, and he has a £20 million release clause in his contract, which represents outstanding value for a player of his quality. Unsurpringly, many of Europe’s leading clubs have been linked with a move for the 25-year-old, including Manchester United, according to the Daily Star.
He tends to play on the left for Dortmund, though he can also play through the middle or on the right, but his campaign has been disrupted by injury. The Germany international has only made seven Bundesliga appearances this season, and he has scored three goals and registered two assists.
Dortmund have been woeful in the league this season, and they have only avoided the embarrassment of being bottom at the halfway point by virtue of having scored one goal more than Freiburg.
Reus’ return would be a major boost to Jurgen Klopp’s side, though he hasn’t had much luck recently. The winger was also forced to miss Germany’s victorious World Cup campaign after picking up an ankle ligament injury in a friendly against Armenia ahead of the tournament.
Bale, surely.Who would move if Real sign him?
Logically, knowing Real, every goalkeeper on their books.Who would move if Real sign him?
Hard to see any other clubs even matching Bale's initial fee with FFP rules. If they secured reus, and we offered them their money back for bale they would probably snap our hands off. That's a tidy profit from Madrids perspective. I don't think thy would try to hardball us into a bid any higher than what thy paid

Would they really have to sell anyone though? They could hypothetically play reus on the left, bale on the right with ronaldo and benzema as the strikers. Rodriguez and isco coming on and offering tactical options and rotation in cup games and such. Depends on how dedicated they all are to the club ofc. Jésé would surely be a goner though I suppose.

Impossible to sustain that level of rotation when the players are that good though, especially when you consider none other than Benzema are likely to play up front. Why are peoplr thinking that Bale will leave if they sign Reus. They will have Ronaldo, Benzema, Reus, Bale, Rodriguez and Isco for 4 positions. They play ike 60 matches per season and rotation is needed.

They will use Ronaldo up front quite a lot IMO, his current style isn't far off a centre forward plus it should even further boost up his stats. I wouldn't be shocked if it was Benzema who had to pave way for Reus.Impossible to sustain that level of rotation when the players are that good though, especially when you consider none other than Benzema are likely to play up front.
I thought Ancelotti is a huge admirer of Benzema. They will use Ronaldo up front quite a lot IMO, his current style isn't far off a centre forward plus it should even further boost up his stats. I wouldn't be shocked if it was Benzema who had to pave way for Reus.
Wouldn't be the first time they offloaded a player liked by manager. I think Ancelotti rated Di Maria too, didn't prevent them from letting him go.I thought Ancelotti is a huge admirer of Benzema.
Yeah, but in terms of finances they don't need to offload anyone. As opposed to the Di Maria deal. And even if it looks like they don't need Reus, as cheap as his release clause is every big club has to be in for him. They currently got Ronaldo, Bale and Jese, who are natural in those wing-positions. Ronaldo and Jese could play as a striker, Reus and Bale could play as an attacking midfielder. It's not that much of a big fuss.Wouldn't be the first time they offloaded a player liked by manager. I think Ancelotti rated Di Maria too, didn't prevent them from letting him go.
Reus is a pointless signing for them, as good as he is, if they don't end up selling someone. If they got Reus for £25m and sold us Bale for £70m it would suddenly look like a terrific deal.

They need Benzema to do the donkey work though, keep centerbacks busy, drag them out of position, do the hold-up play and allow all the attacking midfielders to play off him. Ronaldo is pretty much a central player now, but he's a free roaming second striker and I doubt he'd want to play Benzema's role in the team. They will use Ronaldo up front quite a lot IMO, his current style isn't far off a centre forward plus it should even further boost up his stats.
