The first goal was good keeping he is a monster of a GK he headed about 40 yards and it was just unlucky it fell to Stankovic.
He was not at fault for the second goal.
Did anyone see him throw the ball out? The guy has a slingshot of an arm he easily throws it way past halfway line in fact he throws it halfway into the opposition half.
He is the next Schmeichel.

Thought it wasn't more than around 20 - he was outside the 18 yard box and got to before the half way line. Either way he was quick to see the danger and any other day probably would have been a good clearance. However, maybe next time will work to clear it side ways and not centrally.

I won't go as far as saying i'm gutted because most 'keepers mentioned will be good signings imo. It's just I think Neuer will go on to be one of the best around for a very long time.

Interesting you say that - I was working in Paris this weekend with a couple of guys from Munich and was really struck by how strongly they said they absolutely don't need him at Bayern which struck me as odd.
I doubt it would stop the deal though if both parties want it - they'd be buying him to get 10 years service out of him and once he starts performing well for them no one will remember the initial reservations.

Honigstein has been wrong so many times. Ballack to United, Ribery to United. Come on! He might well go to Bayern but Honigstein has zero credibility on this front.

What a bunch of drama queens they are. It's not like he did something downright disheartening, like say a player scoring at OT and mimicking an airplane. Now that would lead to a riot and vile hatred of the player forever.
To be honest no one really knows how foreign keepers will handle the likes of Carrol, Davies, ellaini etc rushing at them when the ball is crosed.
