Manchester United vs. Wigan Athletic

It's worse watching ITV online. The times it loses connection so you get to view those oh-so-lucrative adverts again...and again. I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

That's fecking so true.

I mean god. There are already adverts at the fecking adverts. Why do ITV need another 2 minutes of adverts everytime the connection dies? Which is all the time because it's fecking ITV.

Just going up to the game now. There seem to be about a dozen more United fans in London than usual.

 set off around the diamond and back home.

The rugby league down here was hilarious.
There were these intrusive bars on each side of the screen and from them these half 3/4 screen ads would pop up. Literally showing a postage stamp sized feed with ads all around it. Was fecking stupid

What makes you say that?
They've completed a 6 game pre-season, apparently won 5 out of the 6. Also won their first game of the season 4-0.

Their match sharpness will be a lot more nailed on than ours, especially because it's more likely that Owen Coyle knows his strongest team, whereas we haven't had the chance to get there just yet. Their individuals might not be better athletes, but they've already won a competitive game comprehensively so I'm sure they're a lot more prepared for the game than we are in regards to match fitness.

Yeah, some of these teams just take their first teamers and head off. We've used a lot of youngsters and travelled a lot. A couple of chops and changes. I think we should see a much more knitted side.

Will be interesting. We've taken more of a 'showpiece' tour as opposed to a 'football tour'

Not bad. Wigan also win on how wiki produces their matches.
Edit - What the feck is wrong new caf?

With no Young or Nani, Zaha will probably start!

I think wiki wont allow a page till you play a senior competitive game.

I guess someone could make one for Adnan if they really wanted. I remember Pogba and Morrison both having pages before they played for the senior team, though most of their pages were about their controversies, like Ravel being a little chav and Pogba getting stolen from Le Havre.

When do we get the official line ups then?

EDIT - Nevermind!

So erm Giggs off RVP? I hope Ryan isn't in fancy flick mood today.

Pleased to see Jones at centre back.

We played in the sun, we played in the raiiiinnnnnn, but with david moysey, its always a pain.

feck sake. What has Giggs done to deserve a place today? Moyes must be soon it as a favour for Fergie or to get more transfer funds.

You have gone over my head, and everybody else too... You're arguing formations are irrelevant in football!
He always does this probably due to not understanding the difference between strategy and tactics. It's pointless arguing with him since he just brings up his coaching badges.

Giggs will get lots of games under Moyes - who needs Giggs support.

What's wrong with Giggs starting? Nani and Young are out injured, Valencia and Kagawa isn't exactly 100% yet

I'd rather give one of the youngsters a go than Giggs. Amazing opportunity to play at Wembley for first time. Glorified friendly or not, this is a must win. Loss to Wigan would be embarrassment.

Young, Nani are injured. Valencia and Kagawa hasn't had much of the pre-season.

Are people complaining about Giggs today, genuinely retarded?

How important are you all seeing this game as? From an outsider's view although not important, I think Moyes could seriously do with a win after a strange pre season.
