Manchester United vs Real Madrid (Thu 27th July, 01:30 UK time)

No one is suggesting he isn't, he improves aspects of our game tremendously but not the one we needed most
It was like 55/45 in terms of what we needed more, we need both. There wasn't/isn't a CF who was a clear guy like Onana. Hence we are getting Hojlund likely in addition to onana. I don't understand what some people aren't getting there. Do you think you can snap your fingers and the perfect CF can appear for 50m like with Onana?

Literally, no one thinks we don't need a striker. I don't know what the other poster is rambling about tbh.
I just can’t understand the logic of watching this performance from Onana and thinking “we shouldn’t have bothered signing him”.

Onana, wow. I took this for granted at Ajax. The difference with de Gea is huge.

He hasn't. Haven't pinged a long pass yet and his shifts/sweeps doesn't really help because we haven't put on the tempo to get from end to end in order to benefit from it.

Doesn't mean he won't make a difference, but using this game as an exhibit for it is hyperbole.
I think that just shows how badly de Gea was at that part of the gk job.

The camera guy can't even pan back to our goal on a pass back because Onana is basically on the kick off line.

If you can’t see a difference that’s on you.

Best I've seen Antony play in months and his game is still filled with shit shots and shit crosses.

You're whinging about the order in which the transfers are happening within a single window. Just pathetic.
