Manchester United vs Leeds (Wed 12th July, 16:00 UK time)

Looks like Varane is keeping the number 19, I was sure he’d take the number 4 now that Jones has moved on

Hugill is definitely not better than Weghorst. Sorry but the PL is a completely different level. Weghorst scored a load of goals in the Bundesliga. I doubt Hugill's going to do much when he leaves Utd tbh
Maybe Weghorst declined horribly since Bundesliga? EPL is definitely way higher level than this game, but Wout couldn't even find the back of the net with simple tap-ins and empty goals. It was shocking how bad he was at aiming the ball inside a 8′ x 24′

Must be his preference for some personal reasons? He more than deserved the #4 shirt, for sure

Great hit Hugill, was never an offside

What's Darren Fletcher doing on the bench ? Shouldn't he be out there signing players, restructuring the club's training ground cone philosophy and fixing the leak at OT.

Fair enough, I was mostly talking about outfield players in the second half. And I don't mean that none of them have any future, but right now they are not even remotely ready.

Oh yea, the only one who should be closest is Brandon Williams just cause he already played bunch of games for us. But he wasn't trusted at all last season so I guess you could say none of these outfield players are ready to play any role in the first team next season.

I think Kovar is excellent but there seems to be a fair amount of momentum around him returning to Sparta this season. I am good with that if it is a loan but I hope we are not cashing in as I do think he is going to be a top keeper. If you dig deep enough on You Tube there are a few Sparta games from last year on there besides the obvious highlight packages and he looks very impressive, no wonder he won the GK of the year award over there. I guess another full season as a starter in a decent league with European games as well is best for his development at this point.

I think it all depends on if we are able to sign that Suzuki guy as well. Seeing as there are rumors linking Heaton to Luton, we would be desperately short in GK department. Although I only watched the highlights, Kovar did look impressive last season.

I think Savage has been our best player today. But none of the United players have been decidedly superb.

The most impressive thing is that in the second half our young players have won over a Leeds team with 5 players who were used regularly in the PL last season.

Looked offside. Mad how we score 2 with kids but none with first teamers.

Great work from Shoretire in the buildup, and to feint away from the Emeran's pass, too.

I know it's a pre-season but I just love watching our kids . Don't forget there's a fair few Leeds players with Premiership experience.

This Hansen-Aaron stands out like a sore thumb - he's playing like a veteran really calm on the ball and great technical ability.

Emeran looks very talented I have to say. Hadn't seen him much before today
