The problem for me isn't just that he's not very good. It's the amount of potential game losing mistakes he makes almost every game. He gives away countless stupid balls in dangerous areas in what should be a simple pass.

Agreed. Tons of mental lapses. He gets into some dangerous areas going forward but his technical ability lets him down most of the time. Defensively, he just goes to sleep way too often for me.

Good to be 2 goals up but it's still frustrating how much our players struggle with basic bits of the game. Forget about formation, three at the back, pressing etc. Just like passing 5 yards, controlling the ball dead with their first touch, making sure your shots are on target. Seems a real struggle at times and it speaks to me of poor technical coaching over an extended period of time.

I'm honestly pretty relaxed. I don't know when I felt this relaxed during a game under Ten Hag. We're in control, creating dangerous situations at a decent clip and scoring.

We didn't go into a low block as soon as we scored one to play on the break, we kept the line high, did the things we had to in a calm manner.

Ten Hag's chaosball was something else.

I really like him. He's one of our most exciting (if not THE most exciting) players to watch. He wants to attack and wants to score. Reminds me of kids that you see in the park or on a field that play football for the fun of it. He seems like that type of player who actually enjoys and loves the game.
