Would it be too ballsy with the game at 0-0 for Valencia to shift to RB and bring somebody like Kagawa on for Jones?
I think it's unfair to say the central midfielders were excellent and wingers were poor like some are suggesting. The way Chelsea have set up it's easy for carrick and Clevelrey to pop it about among each other and backwards whereas it's hard for the midfield to create against a Chelsea side that's sitting back.I thought we were too.
Let's introduce Kagawa now please! This game is perfect for him! Solid midfield behind him, high tempo when attacking, RVP up front... Moyes, please!
Did the possession stats pop up? Must have missed them.
Is it just me or do we play exactly the same as under SAF?
I'd say that under SAF we would be far more open in the midfield. We've been more compact and then pressed to good effect so far this match. Is it just me or do we play exactly the same as under SAF?

Jeez, how can anybody say that was dire? Do we have to have a mini-meltdown every time we're not winning? We played the better football, made the better chances and largely contained them. FFS, it's matchday two with a new manager. I'm feeling fecking confident about this season from what I've seen.
Chelsea has been rubbish... why the heck we still 0-0?
Valencia
This. Get the ball to him forward more. He's looked sublime when on it, just hasn't gotten enough of it.Just give the ball to RvP.
I'm like this.I've got cold hands, watching this. How any United fan can find the game 'dull', I'm intellectually overwhelmed.
Our fullbacks have been very poor at crossing the ball, getting into some promising positions but no end product
To be fair, Chelsea are happy allowing Carrick and Clevelrey to pop it about around the half way line and out wide.
What's been more important is that we're the ones who have gotten the ball forward and threatened.
agree. The 25 shirt really suits him.

Always feel tense the entire game for big matches like this.
Dull or bored never enters the equation
We've been far and away the better team. They've hardly had a sniff. Cleverley, Carrick, Valencia and Rooney have been very good.
Hope we don't regret not turning our domination into a lead.
Yeah big matches can't be dull from a spectators point of view even if the football might be (Althhough not the case today's). There's usually too much riding on the match. Although those that think it's dull are maybe talking about the match from a neutral perspective. It's not exactly been littered with gaol mouth actionI'm like this.
