He hasn't put a foot wrong defensively though so at least he offers that

Extremely boring game. We dominated the possession but neither team created anything. Cleverley the best player in the pitch in the first half IMO.

Short of a goal I could not be happier with how the game has gone, we've been completely dominating them in every aspect of the game.
One thing I always notice with us is that our defender/midfielders never seem to have many options to pass it to. They always tend to think a lot before playing the pass or have to be safe as a result.

the one thing I notice with Moyes team is we tackle more. we can pass..but we tackle a lot more...
Good half from us ,in the end renties were happy to contain.
Better final balls from Valencia or Jones and we'll be in business.

I'd say we're definitely seeing the same kind of pressing Moyes' Everton have used against us so effectively, seems we're winning the ball really well in their half

HT, solid from us, but unspectacular and you guys have had the better of the half. Would be surprised if changes arent made, if we do go 1-0 down I couldn't see us recovering at present.

Very dissapointing going forward. Why we let jones cross the ball it amazes me, we should be leaving Valencia dead wide and letting evra / welbeck do all the play.
