Re: the forward line. If Chelsea start with Essien at RB and Bridge at LB, I'd start with Rooney on the right and Ronaldo on the left. To me, Essien is Chelsea's biggest threat going forward; both Rooney and Ronaldo can cope with his pace, but Rooney is a much better defender (obviously). Plus, that way, Ronaldo could give Wayne Bridge nightmares. Please, God, let Cashley sit this one out.

That seems logical. If he can come on and score a goal like he did against Wigan it will be a good move.
I'd put Rooney predominantly on the right and Ronaldo on the left like the FA Cup final against Arsenal a few years ago. Ashley Cole seems to know how to play Ronny, but that day he had a torrid time against our Wayne. Rooney just ran right through him for 120 minutes, he can do it again.

(Defend like they have been and we will be okay. Drogba is a fiersome opponent, but as long as our back five are on top of their game, we have a great chance. Don't forget that at SB we had to re shuffle early on after Vidic went off and play Hargreaves right back and Brown in the middle)

I hope we don't let Chelsea see the ball too much, because in Scholes and Carrick we have two players who have the ability to monopolise the ball. Hargreaves energy will be vital in snuffing out danger if Ronaldo doesn't track back. Ronaldo and Tevez flanking the front man - this is the European Cup final. We need all our attacking aces out there and ready to produce magic. Park gives great application and energy, but so does Tevez, with the added bonus of some real quality as well)

I agree with that line-up Feed Me. But I think Fergie will play Ronaldo up front on his own and push Tevez and Rooney into the wide positions to help stop their full-backs.

maybe. but think ronnie will float rather than take up a definite position, will make it harder for the renties to man mark him out of the game.
am nervous as fook today. least we got no injury worries for team selecion unlike the renties. Was worried bout vida not making it, but he's in. Although wes could certainly do the job, the back 4 always looks more solid with vida and rio playing together.
This day is huge. Sitting here at work, in my United 07/08 home shirt.
