With all Fergie's talk about it being hard to leave players out tonight, does anyone else get the feeling he's building up to surprising us?

I'm worried he might leave Giggs out all together - maybe he'd rather have Nani run at them in the 2nd half if we need a goal...

No chance of that. Giggs will be on the bench. Fergie's talk of fate and all that.....the opportunity of Giggs playing in his record game and United winning cannot be missed. Fergies well aware of that.

No fecking way. He's been brought on in the last minutes of all our games, he's not going to not let him get it tonight.
 
Giggs has been highly effective in the last two games off the bench

Not a chance at missing out, I'd say.

United are champions of England. No matter what happens it's been a great season.

I was definitely far more nervous before the Wigan game than I am for this one.
 
The endless heartbreaks since '99 have got me bricking it. Porto. Leverkusen. Madrid. Bayern. Milan. Far more nervous that before the Wigan game.

I have booked the rest of the week regardless. If we win I'll need 4days to rid my body of alcohol poisoning I would have put myself through tonight.
 
The team and Fergie look very relaxed there. As long as they dont slack off too much they should perform. We could do without the weight of expectation on our shoulders. Hopefully the players feel confident and brave in their football tonight.

We would win hands down with these line ups although I reckon Chelsea would probably play that ugly, overrated queen up front on their own.
 
Mick Hucknall would find a way to feck it up for us... would probably score a hat trick of own goals.
 
I'm a Celtic supporter but I'm on to say good luck for tonight.
Of the two teams contesting the final, one has a superb tradition, plays great football and oozes class; the other are Rangers in London.

Im with you mate but this is just icing on the cake. We should win it based on our style of play this year but this is a cup final afterall and anything can happen.

We only have to look at liverpool and porto winning in recent years to understand that

I think SAF should not start with neither Anderson or Nani, although there`s no doubt about their talent, but they can`t handle the pressure of this game.

also, I rather to see Man United go with 4-4-2..

we could play Carrick instead of Hargreaves and he will do the same job, but Owen has more experience in these kind of games.

I rather to see Giggs comes in at the second half, obviously he can`t play the whole 90 minutes. so,, we can get the benefit of his experience later in the game :cool:

I'm a tad nervous now. No, I'm totally nervous. Just spent an hour on the video thread and it was great. Just what I needed to make me even more nervous.
Folks are going to be arriving here shortly. I'm in no mood to entertain.
 
Im so nervous for this match, that I cant bare to look at the pre match build up. Just hope its a good match but more important that we win
