    At least one change
Early suggestions are Mourinho has made one change to the line-up that started against Southampton at Wembley, with Luke Shaw coming in for Marcos Rojo at left back.

That would see United line up as:

De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Bailly, Shaw, Herrera, Pogba, Mata, Lingard, Martial, Ibrahimovic.

Should stress this is unconfirmed at this stage.

Massive game, very important we win. We'll be guaranteed to be above either Arsenal or Liverpool at the end of the day.

The thing that worries me is that we haven't taken advantage of our chances to climb up the table recently which is why we've been rooted to 6th. That has to change at some point though right?

We need a win. The most difficult matches are still ahead and we are still 6th despite being in decent form.

What I'm worried about in our next few games is we could move up to 2nd and think we're great but then have to face 4 top 5 teams. Potentially losing more than 2. That would bring us straight back down to 6th it's that tight.
Agree. We better stay outside top 4. ;)

Makes sense, think Jose is still targeting top 4 over Europa since at least one of our rivals will drop points this weekend.
Plus Bailly out of Europa allows Smalling to rest and RoJones to come back in against Rostov, Mkhi should be back by then too and will replace Lingard.

    I'd be happy with this.

If Shaw does start then whether he is successful or not may depend on how his relationship with Martial is developing. They have not really played together that often and when they have, I don't think they worked that well.

Assuming Jose give Shaw licence to go past the halfway line then it is such a great sight to see him bombing down the wing to receive the ball and whip a cross in. Martial having two men on him all the time has cramped his style this season but using a proper fullback is a beautifully simple but effective way of opening up our attacking options either to free up Martial or to get crosses in to Zlatan.

I would like Rashford to get a game here, either for Lingard or Martial, but this is a decent squad. Should hopefully see us get the 3 points.

I'd love a full strength team today plus Shaw so we can rest players away in Europa and go for an industrious 1.0 win... and then key players are rested for the Chelsea game.

We can't afford to be anything under 100% vs Chelsea.

Rashford has looked pretty much awful every time he has started, him ahead of Martial is ludicrous. Wouldn't mind lingard out of the team though.

Hope so. Mkhi for Lingard and that's our strongest team.

Eh? Europa is far more important the fa cup?!

We should be steamrolling these feckers today. Their defence is pisch.

'Kin hell. Rooney, Shaw and Jones.

Decent rotation with enough quality in the side to win this comfortably.

Eddie Howe is ill and might not be available for Bournemouth

What chances have we had? We have just been unlucky that those above us have been doing just enough to remain above us.
