Mourinho giving it to mings. fecking brilliant!
He go stamped on his fecking head! That was a restrained reaction in my opinion.
Look at the replay. Very difficult for him to see that with bodies in the way, and he's watching where the ball is.
He knew he was there,he was swatting him away and knew he would be stuck to him going up for the header.Actually Ibra's header reminds me of Alonso's elbow on Bellerin in the Chelsea v Arsenal game. Ibra is just raising his arm to cover himself in the challenge.
However the commentators don't say anything like that when in the Chelsea game, Alonso was covering himself. Actually the Alonso challenge was worse in my opinion.
Such hypocrites.
There was definitely contact by Jones. I'm sorry but in the modern game if a player lunges in with his leg out like that, the other player has a right to go over it if they still have the ball. You may not endorse it, most don't, but it's the way it is and it's a penalty.Actually i would. Don't judge what i would or not would think thought police. These types of penalties look bad when the defender takes the standing leg of the forward after sudden change of direction. The fall is rapid hence the "easy" call. In this case there was literally no contact from Jones, so yeah...
First game back in how many? Was never going to come in like he didn't miss a beat. Best possible opponent to get him back. He and Rojo have shown to deserve just as much of the starting pair as Bailly and Smalling. Needed rotation. We'll win as long as we don't lose our head and let Friend even it up.Jones has reminded us that he's always got a ricket in his locker, and when one comes, he goes to pieces a bit
That's what I thought he said tooDid Mou tell that Bournemouth player to feck off lol
What's with the over exaggeration here? Yes Ibra's elbow is a yellow, second yellow and red if ref sees it, but what the feck is the retrospective 3-match ban for?! Refs miss second yellows all the time. Should have walked, but ref missed it. No reason whatsoever for a retrospective ban imo, otherwise, they'd have to give a retrospective ban for every elbow thrown every game, which is not gonna happen.
That stamp on the head though...
Not sure. Both Henry and Carra got what zlatan did.The referee clearly saw Zlatan's part in that, but I doubt that will stop the FA - the media are going to go mad about that elbow.
Thats the silver lining. He probably would do well to sit out a week or two and rejuvenate in time for the run in.
Not to mention he would still be eligible for Europa league anyways.
Have you noticed how often players get stamped on in games? Players are very good at avoiding this if they want to - Mings had a look at Zlatan and Rooney, and ended up hitting Zlatan pretty much bang on. It can look like an accident due to the speed and the things going on, but I don't buy that for one second.Look at the replay. Very difficult for him to see that with bodies in the way, and he's watching where the ball is.
Look at the BBC website
Actually I don't think Mings stamp was intentional. Does he really want to be on Ibra's bad side???
when?
This is going to be a feisty half, can see some nasty tackle flying about.

and Zlatan , I can see one or both being sent off.The ref must be waiting to send mings off now...
Sometimes, yes they do. Serves him right.Cause two wrongs don't make a right?
