Bournemouth at home is on paper at least the easiest fixture we have left this season.

I'm fine with Rooney playing in this sort of game.

    Nice to see Shaw too.

Glad to see Ander getting a rest. Carrick should be fine in there today.

    Baily dropped.
martial seems to have won Mourinho's confidence.

Faaak!! Trusted that clown Luckhurst and changed my original team which had Rooney and Jones

I would prefer Herrera starting than Carrick. Happy with Rooney over lingard. COME ON SHAW.

4-2-3-1 I presume? Have we played Carrick Pogba with Rooney nominally in front before? Shall be an interesting game just to see how that works and how the left wing works out.

We looked exhausted against Southampton. Good to freshen the team up, I'm surprised Young isn't in at right back to be honest.

Mourinho really taking the pressure off Shaw in this interview, nice words.

Not just me of my better line up predictions

But I am delighted he has shuffled the team

Jose seems to have a very different attitude towards Shaw's inclusion than he did for Martial and Mhikitaryan's. With the latter two it was more like this is their chance, but in this case he's basically just saying it's about rotation. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I don't feel like Shaw has actually gotten back into the good books.

Seems like we are putting our eggs in the Mickey Mouse Treble basket, but not all of the eggs.

We should win comfortably, I think we will too. The lack of pace does worry me a bit but it'll be fine, one of our best first halves of this season came against Swansea, with Mata and Rooney on the wings and Fellaini, Carrick etc in the middle of the park.

Not liking that team, at all.

    One player with pace.

Good point on the pace. It has huge reliance on our full backs pushing up high, maintaining width and being positive going forward. With Carrick in the centre, there is someone there to sit and let Jones and Rojo create a back 3 at times to cover behind each full back.

i'm not worried about lack of pace. If we can't break them down, Rashford can sub on and cause some havoc. I honestly think we will keep them confined to their box for the vast majority of the first half. We just need to convert early chances.

feck I never think that rooney is selected as starter, hopefully he can show good performance. yeah, RoJones is back!

I hope we get a goal early, because the lack of pace in the team does worry me a bit.

Playing it like an absolute pro. I do feel this match is critical for Shaw though.

Pretty much every game Shaw manages to play from now till season end will be crucial for him. He's entering the final year in his contract, if he does not convince Mou by summer that he deserves his place then he might go. So let's hope he does well today
