On the comfort eating front I'm only about a third of the way through the box and I've stopped grasping it to my chest as I rock back and forth - which must be a good sign.

After watching that finish from Welbeck again, I'm genuinely angry. How do you do that in a match against the best team in the world. Just fecking leather it.

Yep. He's had no composure on the ball but he's worked his arse off and has been fighting fires in defence and that is his most important job. He has not failed us like most assumed he would.

Got to say Fellaini has done very well. He's conceded possession only twice and he's already won 5 headers. When he popped up on the right and played that ball into Rooney where it looked a certain goal bar the block was also very good. He's also not given away needless freekicks today and retrieved the ball well in our own half.

Personally I find welbeck to be frustrating. His touch is very poor and he is very wasteful. He manages to get by solely on his power and pace, but personally I think he out out of his depth. He is obviously going to score now that I have said that
Sub Fellaini with Kagawa, he has been poor in the first half. Not a decent pass, looses the ball for no reason.
Scorline is better than expected at half time. For all their possession they haven't made a lot of chances bar that one Robben shot, De Gea had us covered though. What a chance for Danny though, has to score that.
Bayern have more completed passes in attacking third than our total attempted passes overall.
