Sanchez is definately available but double his price tag if Chile beat brazil tomorrow . I wouldn't rule city out of going for Sanchez if they dump negredo and jovetic which is looking likely . Not in champs league is a negative but having LVG at the helm could pursuade a few players we would never have got under moyes .
Shaw and Herrera signed, we're going to be twiddling our thumbs now waiting for the World Cup to finish i reckon.

Won't stop us from negotiating with clubs though, medicals etc will take place after the World Cup alright.
I think we have one more big transfer to complete this Summer plus perhaps two more around the £10m mark. For instance I can see us signing Carvalho, Martins Indi and Depay or Sanchez, Gustavo and Martins Indi or Hummels, Gustavo and Depay but not Carvalho, Hummels and Sanchez, if that makes sense. We could still spend another £70m in the Summer I think and we are building a side to win the league, not get back into top 4.
This summer develops out exactly how I imagined. I was pretty sure Shaw is ours in the moment we went with official bid, just because I didn’t believe Ed is so stupid not to learn from previous summer. I didn’t expect Herrera but this is just what I thought would happen, giving some info about Cavani chase and working on real transfer targets in the background.
Now, I don’t expect any world class players to join us, probably one more centre back. I hope we get defensive midfielder but I have a feeling we will wait and see when Strootman comes back.

I agree with both of the points you make. LvG will very likely be asked to aim for the title, not less.

The current Netherlands team with Stroortman would be pretty dangerous. He adds a real link between Defense and offensive for that team

Mata, Herrera and Shaw are three transfers Fergie would probably make and he wouldn't get any of them cheaper than we have since.

I was incredibly pessimistic about the transfer window a few days ago now I'm confident Woodward has done his homework. I wouldn't be surprised to see we've done the majority of our business before we head off on the pre season tour.
