Meh. The Adidas kits make it look like a Bayern Munich top.
I'd love if they put the Adidas originals sign on our kit. Doubt it though. To make up for the dumb arguments, lets discuss the kits. With nike gone, we could see adidas, which I think would look sick.

The top right one would be the best kit ever.
Hadnt seen it yet, pure class. If they make such beatiful kits for Swindon, what will they make for us? ^^It's basically the Swindon Town kit from 2011.
Oh I 100% agree. It was a nothing post that didn't need any reaction at all.
This entire discussion is absolutely ridiculous.
So how does it work? I mean how much do Madrid get?! surely they will then start moaning that they sell as many shirts as us. To be honest the 750m quoted sounds quite low to me, in another 10 years time you can expect the premier league to be even bigger than it is now and currently we are talking about low end of the table clubs getting a huge fee for premier league TV rights. Some like Palace got 60-70m.
I expect this deal to go through with some additional clauses like year on year bonuses or something like that.
Right now no its incredibly huge but revisiting that figure after 3-5 years and it won't looks so crazy.£31m a year is what they get at the moment. Though, they signed that deal in 1998. They renewed it in 2012, so they're going with that deal till 2020.
We're set to earn north of £70m - more than twice as much.
£750m is a world record in all of sport. Still feel low to you?
I prefer Nike. Adidas shirts are all very similiar.

Does it still exist? I couldn't find it, which is why I posted what I did instead of quoting it there.Does this mean the gayest post of the week thread can no longer be used?
You could have just quoted the exact same one that's up the thread a bit.Heres a little something I've been cooking for the last hour!
Used Bayerns kit template.

While that's true, they've never had a kit that people have refused to buy because its "ugly". You know what your getting with Adidas, and while their colour's can be a little out there they generally make decent kits. All the adidas mock ups look appalling fwiw.
I'm sure there's some nostalgia value for those who remember the older kits (my first kit was an adidas one) but the three stripe thing is a gimmick that pretty much limits every design change to a similar, identikit format.
It'd be interesting as far as a change goes, for a bit, but you just need to look at Chelsea's last 5 kits and how ridiculously similar they all are to see the fun will wear off. Even the nostalgia junkies will get bored eventually, let alone the perpetual moaners. (I know this is a moan...shut up)
People moan about the lack of effort Nike put into our kits. "They're always so plain, all they do is add a collar or change the colour of the trim". What extra effort do Adidas put in? It'll be the same as everyone else, only in red with white/black/both trim, and three stripes. The same people moaning now will moan about Adidas, for the same reason. While that's true, they've never had a kit that people have refused to buy because its "ugly". I personally don't care who we get to make our kits, aslong as they are a decent design and get loads for it!.

It's fecking horrible.
What's innovative about it? It's got some silly spazzy shit on it? Is it in 3D?
Original and creative thinking.
Name me another kit like it. It's 3D
What is? It's a black kit with a whooshy design on it. It looks like a JJB training top you'd go nowhere near if it didn't have a logo on it. It's fecking horrible.
It actually IS 3D!? So you have to sit and look at the kit with 3D glasses on? In the stadium? Or the street? What?
You lot are impressed by any old nonsense. It's a completely pointless gimmick.
I think we should stick reflective cycling strips to our new kit to help us see players in the dark. It'd be creative, and crucially more practicall and useful than a 3D kit.
They're plain shirts with stripes on the sleeve. If (what do I mean if, when) Nike gave us kits like that they'd be crucified for being too plain.Totally agree it's a pointless gimmick, but I appreciate the design. Nike's pointless gimmicks are table cloths or a chevron design on an old Mexico kit which they link back to our 1909 cup win.
We'll agree to disagree.
I do appreciate the simple designs they do as well like these:
For me those kits are nicer than most of the ones Nike palm off on to us.
The second, Bayern kit is quite nice. The first one also looks like a crap training kit. Personally I like things that don't look like cheap sportswear, but different strokes.
