As a Yank, all this logo crap looks bad, so it's hard to care too much exactly how crap our looks vs someone else's.
Nope, it's even worse than Qatar. Chevrolet is a shit company incapable of running their own business withhout continuos government bail outs. I predict this will be a very short term sponsorship, perhaps similar to Vodafone when they pulled out early.
It's not that bad. I can see myself buying the home kit. It is the away kit that is absolutely shit. Giant gold logo on a cheap looking white shirt.
I can only guess you didn't see any of the leaks? I felt exactly the same when I saw the first few leaks but as time has gone on and I've gotten more used to it, I find the logo far less visually offensive and actually quite like the shirt now.
I thought the exact same thing. Should have let Welbeck say it in his Manc accent (I'm aware he isn't as marketable as Rooney but it'd been nice for sentimental reasons!)

Really? The least they could do, after paying a record amount of money, is use something other than their official logo?
I really don't understand why anyone would expect anything different. That's their logo. They paid to have it on our shirt.
The word "CHEVROLET" under a plain white outline version of the bow tie might have been a hint, though.

Anyway, all big companies have a range of different versions of the logo to use in different contexts. Someone already posted a less garish version, used on a race car they sponsor (see below). Would have looked far better than that chrome and gold eyesore. It's in the interest of the club and the sponsor to have a shirt that actually looks nice, surely?

The Chevrolet guys have messed up with the logo . It should be lower down , given the "who ate all the pies" shape of the average male the logo will disappear between the beer belly and man boobs when you sit down.
The gold cross isn't a great logo but I guess I will not notice it if the guy wearing it is holding the premier league trophy aloft.

Well yeah, obviously. And by all means, I agree that would look the best. But, that wasn't the case for the examples presented in the post I replied to. It was sans-logotype, symbol only, which doesn't ram the message of 'Chevrolet' home enough to the eastern markets that we are targeting right now.

Yeah, but the guy you quoted wasn't suggesting just the white outline bowtie, it would have been that in place of the gold and the writing still included.

The logo really does make a difference.
Huge difference. With Sharp on it it looks like one of the best shirts I've ever seen to be honest.

The "SHARP" thing is just a skewed nostalgic preference. It looks just as good with just the word CHEVROLET. It's the big yellow cross thing that's the problem.
