Terrible logo on the kit, IMO - as bad as Qatar on our kit

I can only guess you didn't see any of the leaks? I felt exactly the same when I saw the first few leaks but as time has gone on and I've gotten more used to it, I find the logo far less visually offensive and actually quite like the shirt now.Let's be honest. It's fecking hideous. The massive chrome/gold cross in the middle is a fecking aberration. Can''t remember the last time a United strip had such an ugly bit of graphics on the shirt, never mind something so large and centrally placed. The least they could have done would be to do it in white, the chrome and gold colouring is vile.
Mind you, I couldn't care less. Will never buy or wear one and so long as I can tell the teams apart, then I'm ok with pretty much any strip.
I thought the exact same thing. Should have let Welbeck say it in his Manc accent (I'm aware he isn't as marketable as Rooney but it'd been nice for sentimental reasons!)My girlfriend made a good point about the advert, where Rooney says that kit will always be for us (can't remember the actual quote)
But it was quite funny that it was a scouser saying it

The word "CHEVROLET" under a plain white outline version of the bow tie might have been a hint, though. To be fair, unless you are familiar with Chevrolet's logo/branding (which a lot of our supporters weren't) you wouldn't know who the sponsor is. That looks like an ambulance rather than a racecar. Or something Swiss related.
Up there with the gayest posts I've read on here yet.I'm surprised the shirt still doesn't look the proper athletic fit even when the players are wearing it. It looks largely fluffy on the body and Welbeck is the only guy it looks better on. I expected it to look a lot better on players like van Persie and Kagawa who are naturally lean.
Really? The least they could do, after paying a record amount of money, is use something other than their official logo?
I really don't understand why anyone would expect anything different. That's their logo. They paid to have it on our shirt.
Their official logo is fecking rank, then. They need a re-brand.
Anyway, all big companies have a range of different versions of the logo to use in different contexts. Someone already posted a less garish version, used on a race car they sponsor (see below). Would have looked far better than that chrome and gold eyesore. It's in the interest of the club and the sponsor to have a shirt that actually looks nice, surely?
Well yeah, obviously. And by all means, I agree that would look the best. But, that wasn't the case for the examples presented in the post I replied to. It was sans-logotype, symbol only, which doesn't ram the message of 'Chevrolet' home enough to the eastern markets that we are targeting right now.The word "CHEVROLET" under a plain white outline version of the bow tie might have been a hint, though.
Yeah, but the guy you quoted wasn't suggesting just the white outline bowtie, it would have been that in place of the gold and the writing still included.Well yeah, obviously. Who cares? 99/100 people are not going to know the difference. I doubt you would have known either unless you were told.
This is north korea level of bad Photoshoping..how can a club of our size not get an image of Van Gaal against a green screen and get in the image... I mean Moyes's body, wtf.
I think GM have bigger problems than the Chevy logo right now.
Is that not some kind of motorsport division or something?
The official logo as per their company branding, website, every car they sell etc etc, is the gold bowtie.
Besides it's all subjective anyway. I quite like it.
Found this on Reddit: What the kits would look like with Sharp as the logo.
It looks really...sharp.

Huge difference. With Sharp on it it looks like one of the best shirts I've ever seen to be honest. The logo really does make a difference.

Yeah because talking about the fit of a shirt is gay. Great input.Up there with the gayest posts I've read on here yet.

I can spot those defeatist hands a mile off. Look how weak they are.Who cares? 99/100 people are not going to know the difference. I doubt you would have known either unless you were told.
I see this is a humour free zone. Lighten up.Ok pal.
Oh, I'm quite aware. Probably shouldn't have bothered. To be fair @The Neviller does seem to have a stick constantly right up his ass.
Wouldn't pay much attention.

I wasn't told, it just looks bloody dumb and there is no need for a club of our size to do it. 1 green screen and a photo and its done

Yeah, although I didn't actually say that, and it was only a joke.My thoughts exactly. "Someone commented how clothes fit, he must be gay". What a tool.
