I hate transfer windows. I really wish the transfer window only lasted one month in the summer and one week in January. For this window I really do not think we need to make any signings. We will finish third regardless. The important business can be done in the summer.
Cuardrado or Depay. Whoever with pace and ability to take players on, we need to sign.

We certainly need something, in truth both a centre back and a winger. I'd take Nani back at the moment aswell, can't harm to have him as an option on the bench.
Get Shaqiri in quick, he's cheap, has pace, can pass defenders, strong, explosive, can score, is young and has potential, for 12 million it's a bargain. And get a defender will ya, Evans/Jones is becoming unacceptable.
That wouldn't be a bad shout if we were to get in him on loan as it's reported Juventus are offering.
Depay would be a great signing.
Agree with a quick attacker needed. Depay or Cuadrado would be ideal.

If Hummels is available then we should get him other wise we should start looking for players for the summer window so we buy them early in the window rather then last day!!!

Hummels is still in the CL and Dortmund are in with a shout so he won't move now, better chance in the summer when/if they miss out on CL football and worse, relegated! (A high possibility sadly!)

PSV are looking good to win the Dutch league so can't see him moving in January.
We need more than one fast, threatening player. Even when he returns from injury, whenever that may be, we could really use another player of his kind on the other side of the pitch.
Buy him and loan him back to PSV for the season, let him become second with PSV this year after Ajax overtakes them.

Coleman is perfect for van gaals formation and would offer much more than rafa and Valencia. With the way Everton are going he may be interested in a move, he is getting older and may relish the opportunity to get us into Europe and then play European Football as He may not get the opportunity again.
Vlaar already knows the system LVG plays and he played it very well in the World Cup and recently against us in the league he was rock solid, I don't understand why people don't rate him on here. He is definitely someone we should be looking at that would immediately improve our defence.
Shawcross is the same, he's just a solid CB that has the ability to string more than 2 games together without being injured which is always good. He's one of the reason stoke are hard to beat he's physical and won't be bullied like the CBs we currently have that seem to be dominated in the air and on the ground.

Why do we want to sign defenders from teams in the bottom half/relegation threatened clubs - there may be a reason why these clubs are in such a position, and it may have something to do with their defenders ... just a thought
We have only conceded 1 more than Chelsea and City.. I guess they also need few defenders in?
well we have had an extra defender playing in most games not to mention the miracle saves that De Gea has pulled off!
If you have been watching our matches, it is clearly noticeable who the key man is that is actually keeping the goals to a minimum.
The extra defender do not makes you more solid, and we haven't played with real wingbacks or fullbacks for a lot of games.
Chelsea and City should sign a decent keeper then
I just think its silly to suggest our defence is anywhere as solid as Chelsea's for example....only Shaw would get start for them
I think our midfielder and attacking players are the problem. With all our attacking talents we doesn't create many chances like City and Chelsea. Its probably insane to have 3 strikers and Mata in the starting XI?
wdf, no he wouldn't. Apzilicueta and Luis and are better than Shaw right now.
You do realise that is mainly down to De Gea and not our defence right?
