Mario Fernandes for me - RB who can play CB, voted best foreign player in Russia and should be available on the cheap with the current Russian crisis - probably under 10m.
Just as good going forward? Coleman's much better going forward than Rafael.
ITK season is upon us.
Are you the Cafe's ITK ITK, agent khoazany?
Yeah, Schar looked good any time I've seen him. For the price that's been mentioned (5-12m) he'd certainly be a better gamble than someone like Ron Vlaar.
Vlaar would be free (in the summer) & is proven to be a good premiership defender, so how exactly would it be a better gamble, than paying a fee for a player who has never played in the premiership?
Has anyone else missed this guy?
I know he is around 20, so definitely one for the future. He is playing in that Bilbao side at that age and has CL experience already. Bilbao aren't the easiest team to deal with as we found out with Ander.
He has two working legs. What more do you want? Not sure about his speed tbh. Hummels is slow as well. It depends if LvG wants speed or if they are good on the ball. Only he knows what he wants from his players.Isn't Laporte slow?
Has anyone else missed this guy?
Over the next few weeks we are going to be linked with everyone as per usual! I don't think there will be much activity, if any to be honest but I do love all the speculation!Guardian is going with it too

We could offer Dortmund a bit more than his release clause in hopes of being allowed to talk to him before everyone else...
Edit: I meant Reus
Those guys are in a relegation battle, no way would they sell now.
Even if they were willing to, it's pretty much in his hands where he ends up. If he doesn't want to come to us, and go to Bayern/Madrird/Chelsea etc. then he'll just end up there.
There isn't a right-back in the Premier League worth pursuing in my opinion. I've given up on Rafael and his injuries, but the likes of Clyne and Coleman would command very high fees, and aren't far superior to a fit Rafael.

Aren't they still in the CL also?

Because his clause isn't active yet. If we offer more than the clause now instead of offering the normal amount in the summer, BvB might sell him early for more $$$.Are you Ed Woodward? We're you in charge of the Fellaini deal? Why the feck if his release clause is x would we offer x+. Surely as soon as you offer the fee then it gets activated regardless?
Stop posting tweets from stupid "agent" accounts or similar. This might not be the twitter thread but the same rules apply, we're not giving these dickheads the attention they crave.
Both Godin and Cuadrado have release clauses that are under 30m and would do wonders for our side.
What the feck is your problem? If you have a problem with the rules of the site I can simply revoke your posting privileges?Ooh. Better do as Rado-N says,
If you don't do as he says, he'll get his dad to beat up your dad
That is someone put right back in their box. Well done mate. What the feck is your problem? If you have a problem with the rules of the site I can simply revoke your posting privileges?
Considering you've only been here 5 minutes you might wanna wise the feck up.
Ooh. Better do as Rado-N says,

With regards to Vlaar - I dont like his injury record. He will become just another glass defender to add to our collection of glass. Furthermore, I dont actually think he is particularly good. Just because he is dutch, doesnt make him World class.
We need to look very closely at the potential signing's injury record.
If he he is already injury prone and we sign him and he gets injured - we only have ourselves to blame.
Godin, has mentioned that he wants to stay at Calderon for the foreseeable future.
Godin, has mentioned that he wants to stay at Calderon for the foreseeable future.
I wonder if that is like when Ronaldo wanted to stay here or Suarez wanted to stay at Liverpool or dozens of other times a footballer says something but doesn't actually mean it.
Agreed on Godin, not sold Cuadrado at all.
Cuadrado has been off the boil this season but last season he led the serie a in completed dribbles and we really need someone fast on the wing who can open up space. His release clause makes him all the more attractive. If we can get someone better Id be happy with that as well...but Cuadrado can be got in January.

Because genius, the release clause doesn't activate until the summer. Offering a higher fee to Dortmund means we could start talking to Reus directly from January; we get a headstart on our rivals. Are you Ed Woodward? We're you in charge of the Fellaini deal? Why the feck if his release clause is x would we offer x+. Surely as soon as you offer the fee then it gets activated regardless?
Good reason not to sell in JanuaryYeah, won the group too.
