Or it's complete and utter bollocks, I'm finding it difficult to comprehend why you all suddenly believe every word these shitbags write?
This one is more positive. It says our manager and CEO are on good terms. Excuse me for wanting to believe in the only positive article about our club in recent weeks

and the one decent season we do have, he stops the manager of improving even further to go a step onwards. the man is a parasite and the quicker he is moved aside to commericla only duties, the better.

It's believing articles because the person wants to that constantly has this forum in such a riled state.

True but the reason I personally attached weight to it is because Woodward has often used the guardian in the past, secondly this particular article claims to have info specific to their relationship that only one of them can know and thirdly it's not the typical shit stirring negativity the media uses when fabricating stories for clicks. Doesn't contain any opinion or farfetched inferences from the writer. Outside of using ones personal judgement there really isn't much else one can go on

3)De Gea
4)Rashford

Nope. The article said Martial, Shaw, Lingard and Rashford.

Martial, along with Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, is considered to be central to United’s future by Woodward and his allies and they were unwilling to entertain the idea of selling the player signed from Monaco by Louis van Gaal, Mourinho’s predecessor, in 2015. So far he has cost them £44 million of a projected £61 million fee.

It’s almost as if Martial and Shaw are the only deals he can hang on to before Jose arrived. Why would you be willing to sell Pogba but not Shaw considering what Luke has offered before this season.

Just speculation though of course, it’s probably made up.

Banner flies tomorrow apparently.

This is just the start for chinless. It's going to get much worse for him.

Until he gets a new manager and gives him £200m. Woodward the great rises again and we all forget about Glazernomics.

Nah, not this time.

The matchgoing fans like Mourinho and don't want him sacked so a new manager won't appease.

This is all on Woodward.

Have to agree that Woodward is a major problem if he’s been directing transfer policy. But the Woodward Out campaign has not got a snowballs in hell chance of succeeding. He’s Glazers man on the ground, so it’s a complete waste of money. If push comes to shove the owners will always side with Ed, even if that means dispensing with Jose. Best we can hope for is that they notice, release the purse strings, and let Jose have the final say. Difficult to sack a manager if you’ve gone against his wishes and not given him the tools for the job.

Might add that during the same period (spanning three managerial reigns) United have been characterized by two highly unflattering traits: a tendency to spend huge amounts (transfers and/or wages) on big names who have either flopped utterly or failed to impress to various degrees - and a tendency to play uninspiring, dull football with precious little of either dazzle or guts.

Transfer spend rivaled only by a small handful of clubs, wage budget pretty much unrivaled. Nowhere near a genuine challenge for any major trophy - miles off the pace, in fact.

If it weren't for the fact that Woodward has been largely absolved of any responsibility for the football side of the operation, he would've been regarded as a disaster. There's a reason for the above, of course - United's particular model/structure has made it possible - sort of - to just regard him as the guy who brings in official noodle sponsors. It can't last, though. Unless Jose pulls off a small miracle, Woodward will be targeted to a much greater degree by both fans and the media.

And, to state the obvious, if he now starts to portray himself as someone with an actual strategy on the football side (see his latest alleged briefings), there won't be any reason for anyone to hold back anymore.

In my experience of travelling home and away it's nowhere near that clear cut. There's pretty much a three-way split among the people I've met at the games, between the board, the manager and the players and if anything the largest faction are the ones who see the manager and the board being responsible for our current predicament, with most of the blame between the two being placed on the manager.

Something's wrong with the matchgoing fans if they're happy with the product on the field. Mourinho has got to go.

I get the point in not fully backing Jose this season but the most of those years are hardly his fault, he’s provided funds that make us one of the highest spenders in world football before this summer.

We’ve spent hundreds of millions on gash, I’m almost certain Ed isn’t identifying players that’s down to the manager. Infact I think he’s so sick of blowing money on crap he’s decided to hold off until we appoint a DoF which will probably happen before January.

And that's exactly the problem - that means he's not setting out a structure or a foundation to build off. He's simply giving it to the managers to do then when they leave in 2/3 years time we have to start from scratch again.

If he hired a DOF or TD then we would have some sort of structure at the club so when managers and players leave the club still runs smoothly. Look at how many mangers Barca, Madrid, Bayern have had in the past 6 years but yet the quality of their football has pretty much been the same.

Ed is supposed to set out the blueprint for the club so we can have some direction /structure and he hasn't done that. What has he really achieved for the club in the past 6 years football wise? We haven't challenged for the title, we've only qualified for the CL 3 out of 6 times, the football and the recruitment is poor.
It's really not good enough.

It's a bit too obvious that you have no idea what matchgoing fans think, so stop presenting it as a fact that Mourinho is well liked by the attending supporters and that they want Woodward gone, because it's miles away from being that simple. Some dislike Woodward, some dislike Mourinho, some want them both gone, but a universal support for Mourinho among them ? Please

Winds me up when a handful of fans think they can speak for the majority with stunts like flying a banner.

It’s embarrassing.

Agreed. Hope it doesn't happen. I tend to agree with the banner sentiment but have a few issues with it.
1) it's a bit knee jerk after 2 bad results.
2) it's fecking embarrassing
3) no mention of the Glazers
4) what outcome do they hope for at this stage in the season?
5) I suspect (with absolutely no evidence) a bunch of journalists have plugged together to do this!
