Reece James making a strong case for the Euros, he was fantastic in the 1st half.

Pep will have to put on Rodri ASAP to get a hold of the midfield. Not starting with a DM was a mistake from the start. To be honest, the lineup looked weird to all of us.

Its funny how we finished 2o but the team that finished 4o seems to be miles ahead of us in terms of quality. If it wasn't for Werner they could have scored atleast 1 more.

Two good teams playing good football. It's the favourable result (so far) that the whole world wants. Though no one is actually happy obviously.

I won't say anything else in case I jinx it.

Werner's finishing has been terrible, but his movement has caused Dias and Stones no end of problems. The goal comes from Werner's run taking Stones away, Mount plays a direct pass through the middle, Dias has to cover the middle on his own and zinchenko needs to tuck in to reduce the space between them. He doesnt, the pass cuts in behind Dias and zinchenko and Havertz keeps his cool to go round the keeper.

City WILL get a glorious chance and i would be lying if i said i dont think theyll score.... but we defended so well and hopefully keep it up

If the goal was not scored he would be sent off for deny a clear goal scoring opportunity. Chelsea scored so at the most it could have been a yellow for a deliberate handball.
That answer my question I just asked. Cheers.

Definitely want Chelsea to win this. Lot of talk suggesting its
Chelsea. Easily.

I’ll be happy to never see City lift the one with the big ears.

Agree 100%.
From what I've been reading in the build up, all the hype is behind City, to the extent you think all they need to do is just turn up. It's their destiny that the owners and Pep have been building towards, no team deserves it more.
Feck right off - go on Chelsea.

Warner could have scored one from his three attempts. If Chelsea scores an early goal, this game is finished for the good.

If city loses this game we know for sure Guardiola is a flop of a coach/manager, the team with the best players in Europe and they are been destroyed by Chelsea. Cancelo and Aguero should be playing.

Looking at the highlights, how different might this game have been if Sterling controlled that pass from Ederson properly. Had City taken the lead then Tuchel would have had to approach the game differently.

Chelsea looking like a ridiculously well oiled machine.

Every single one of their players knows what their role is, and what they should be doing out on that pitch.

Right now you guys are looking far more likely to get a 2nd. We might get one but if things play out the same way, I fancy you to get a couple on the counter.

Yup. That other team did well in the transfer market, while we didn't, yet again.

Getting completely, totally and utterly outplayed and schooled by Tuchel again. Chelsea have been magnificent so far, playing without fear and we're playing like cowards. We are very, very lucky to be only 1 down. Big changes needed and Pep needs to show his nous here. Men against boys in the first half. 2 or 3 nil would be a much fairer score line.

Pep's gonna take a lot of stick if we lose to that goal, that pass was played exactly where Fernandinho or Rodri would be sitting and where Jorginho or Kante are sitting when we break.

This is very accurate, but that luck might pay off.

Chelsea could live to regret those missed chances, Werner is like Sterling in that you just never expect them to finish.

Gündogan is NOT good as a CDM, never has been.
What was Pep thinking not fielding Fernandinho or Rodri?

Chelsea deserve the lead, great pass by Mount and good finish by Havertz

I think Pep needs to be thankful they're not completely out of the game, not the other way around.

If Man City lose this, Pep GuardiFailure.

Mancini and Pelligrini have won the exact same competitions as Pep, if Pep can’t claim the one prize that eluded them, then he’s not improved them imo.

To me, points total isn’t worth the same as actual silverware.
