He won't leave. This is his last pay cheque. We need to sack him.

"You know it’s over when the manager starts questioning the desire of his own players. Van Gaal did that when he said the 13 times champions of the Premier League could not match the passion and desire of a side who started and ended the day second bottom of that league.

In the more comforting surrounds of the club’s own television station, his guard slipped further. He was worried, he said, when he watched the warm-up. His players did not look up for it."

I'd genuinely fancy our chances of top four still if we brought in Mourinho now, if not finishing closer to mid-table is more realistic.

FFS did he really say that?

He'd win the next 3 easy games and keep his job for another two months.
Our next 4 games are far from easy, the only one we can be confident about is Shrewsbury away, the Danes on Thursday will be no mugs and obviously Arse at home is not going to be much fun

He said next 3 though. 2x Midtjylland and Shrewsbury. You can't ask for easier fixtures as an alleged top PL team.

How depressing fecking hell.

The only thing keeping him in a job is discord and disagreement behind the scenes apart how to fix all of this but one thing is certain. There is going to be some serious upheaval at the end of all of this and it will be very interesting to see who is left standing.

Yeah I added Arse as its at the end of a run of 4 games in 11 days.

Midtjylland are a much better side than Sunderland and will be well up for their two games against us. In fact if we get a draw on Thursday and an away goal I'm throwing a party!

Despite the stats, the terrible football, cant compete for a top 4, let alone a PL challenge, and the funniest part? blaming everyone but himself, even blaming scholes for the poor atmosphere, yea VG fans are not stupid

I'm a Van gaal fan and I don't understand, it is not hard to admit that the transplant didn't worked, in sports these things happens.

I am almost hating him atm. Fecking parasite should resign if he has any honour.

Ive been in his corner much longer than most of the Caf, but im quite surprised he hasn't been booted after the Sunderland game.

Well... at least no one will ever try and convince me that Woodward is good at his job (footballing side, not commercial) anymore.

Alas, it's not his perogative to quit... particularly financially... however much I dislike him as a manager, I can totally see why he wouldn't resign.

Him still being here is on the club and the club alone.

This.

It's actually getting to the point where I'm starting to think this is worse than the Moyes era. I just don't understand how the feck he's still Manchester United manager. What does he have to do to get sacked?

Don't jinx it...

The guy is so deluded and arrogant for no real justifiable reason, I dont consider him as one of the greats , he had a Ajax team full of world class players, then got a Barca team with world class players, and then the same at Bayern. We won those 2-3 games recently and in his interviews hes straight away praising himself saying this is how I wanted the team to play all along, then when he loses 5-6 games on the trot, he doesnt even mention his part. Cocaine nose is deluded

The club has driven it to a point one would almost start hoping for a big defeat so he finally gets fired.

I just find it incredible that the club has been happy to hold onto Van Gaal for so long. Its like a sadistic experiment: 'how much damage can he inflict if we just let him keep going?'

Its so obvious the players don't want to play for him, and he knows it. If we had fired him at Christmas I would have fancied us to have beaten Newcastle and Sunderland and be three points above City right now.

Same here. I've been a supporter of his through the Christmas period.

Now... It's turned quite pathetic as to just how feckless we look as a side. It's genuinely disappointing and I feel a sense of defeat that I've never felt as a United fan.

I've always had the fire in ky belly regardless of how Shit we were playing. Always knew that we would at least try our hardest when the chips are down and mount an ugly comeback of sorts. Something that's within the DNA of this club.

Never did I feel helpless. We were the masters of our own universe. Now though... A feeling dread has settled on me where I feel like the team is sick of it all... And that is just unforgivable.

You've done your bit LVG. It's failed. If anything we underwent a severe overhaul but through it all I never thought we'd lose the fire.

Even though he said he would possibly resign, but I guess if he thought last week that we could win the title and that we are in good form I guess he thinks he's doing a good job:wenger:

He knows he's doing a poor job.

But we dont know what's happening behind the scenes.

I think he was given assurances after the Stoke game(the one on boxing day ) that he wouldn't be fired. His demeanour changed completely from the Stoke game where he looked resigned to be sacked to the Chelsea game where he was cocky as hell.

So he probably knows he's doing a poor job, but also knows he wont be fired.

Companies don't align themselves with other brands for shits and giggles.

Adidas want to be associated with a successful, attractive, easy on the eye football team.

Its a pity the only way to get LVG out seems to be for the sponsors to pressure Woodward.

Woodward is shit and so is LVG.

We need to get this fraud of a manager out of this club NOW, i'm trying to think of any good he has done since he was signed a couple of years ago and seriously i cant think of any. He has been inept in every single department and has bought nothing but misery to the club and fans.

Also, now that 4th is out of reach why are we dithering on sacking his sorry arse!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the fecking point of Google news when you look at it every day and not only has LvG not been sacked, but he's not even on the first fecking page of sport stories.

This is worse than moyes because Moyes was shit but he was shit with Fergies team. So it still felt like the Utd I knew and loved, still had legends and good utd players in the team. Even if they were underperforming.

Now it's a load of new players who don't feel like Utd, playing equally shit. It feels like there's no connection anymore. It's depressing as feck.
