Because there is no evidence he is gone in the summer, just loads of speculating and wishful thinking.
In the US before the Sunderland match they had an interview with a reporter named Ashton who indicated that LVG has already planned pre-season games in China. Not exactly the actions of someone not being here.
That may all change if we do not make CL, but at the moment the hysteria is just caused by those who have had enough.
Dude everyone knows he is gone even if God forbid he makes it to the summer. Moyes was planning deals with Kroos and Carvalho for the summer yet he was sacked in March.Just because a manager is planning for the future doesn't change anything. Every manager looks to the future and plans ahead. The fans will start revolting and the media pressure is going to be too much for him and United to handle especially since we wont be playing UCL AND remember by not finishing in the top 4 he has done worse this season. All this leads to me to think he is gone for sure.

Atmosphere at home games could get pretty fecking interesting/nasty. It doesn't benefit anyone to keep this circus running. LvG is getting called a cnut and whatever else by everyone in the land, and we're playing absolutely shit with no sign of improving.

We'd be doing him a favour if we sacked him tomorrow.

Moyes went because he couldn't meet the basic requirements. If (and it is a big if) LVG gets CL then he probably will meet the basic requirements. Not saying he will, but I won't be putting any money on it based on media rumours which have been consistently wrong this year.

I think the biggest problem with LVG is he simply has no charisma and the players don't want to play for him.

He is clearly a clever man and I don't think his tactics are as outdated as people want to make out. I just think much like Moyes players just don't seem motivated by him.

With that in mind he has to go. The damage is irreparable now and with Mourinho available, someone who players love, it makes perfect sense to make the change.

I think the delay is due to Giggs and the club not knowing what to do with him.

If Woodward ever writes an autobiography there will be a chapter dedicated to things that aren't mathematically impossible.

Cant wait for the day we dont have to see him and his bloody idiotic notebook in the dugout.
I'd like to read that. Probably just smiley faces and notes like "We can win here, but feck it I'll put Fellaini on for the comedy value". Turns out he's just an epic WUM.

Notebook contents....

All work and no play makes Louis a dull boy.

I have no philosophy, but the cnuts bought it!
I love Fellaini because everyone else hates him.
Rooney is shit, but it amuses me.
I'm unsackable, so feck the lot of yas.

Absolutely no one has the confidence we will make the top 4 from here on in with him in charge so its technically the same situation we had with Moyes. With LVG it has always been one step forward and two steps backward this season.

He'd win the next 3 easy games and keep his job for another two months.
He doesn't have to win it all, a draw against Arsenal will do. I bet our board/LvG's apologists will start dancing in a circle if it happens.

I think there was a philosophy, the problem with it is that it's out of date and doesn't work in the PL

Possession is often mentioned as a big part of the philosophy but most of our good results this season have been in games where we've had fewer.

In short, the philosophy doesn't fecking work.

United had the big chance this season to win the league, isn't it? All teams are playing shit this time, would have been (relatively) easy this season. All you guys needed was a consistent performance across the season. Even a few losses against tough teams would have been fine. Messed up big time.

it's actually the "easier" sides that we should be beating that are giving us grief more often than not.

sure. we dropped silly points during fergie years as well but it's the frequency at which we're dropping points against clubs like bournemouth, sunderland, norwich, etc. that's alarming.

Woodward and co. probably check each morning on the message boards to have a big laugh at all the pissed off fans.

On almost every performance metric, LVG's been a disaster - he knows it, the players know it, the fans know it but yet he's still there with that fecking briefcase.

What is the reasoning behind this? Are we just waiting for Jose? Even if we are, we'd be better off without a manager till then.

I've been thinking this for a while, but the problem is we eventually win a bloody game and he seems to get another month of breathing space.

Yeah, he's fine against good teams, it's bottom end shite like Sunderland, Norwich, Chelsea and co that he struggles to break down.

I agree on one hand, but on the other you could say the same for the other big clubs.
We're just as shit, if not shitter than them.

but the problem is we eventually win a bloody game and he seems to get another month of breathing space.

That's genuinely been the case for LVG's entire reign (or rather, we eventually play ok in one and everyone chills out). Called it out ages ago but people didn't wanna hear it then.

We are the laughing stock of football right now, how can the board let this continue when the only people who want LVG to stick around are those who support other clubs.

There's a plane flying around Manchester with a banner behind it.

Unfortunately it's just some shit about Key 103.

11 draws and 9 defeats. 10 scoreless matches. Two early competition exits.

That is all you need to know as an investor.

I assume this characterizes a lot of caftards each morning looking on bbc web for THE breaking news.
