No complaints from me today. We made our bed when we didnt sack him in December when our season fell apart. Cant see why another piece of evidence that he shouldnt be at this club will make a blind bit of difference. We are getting exactly what we deserve.

I have a question for you all. How many people remember this banner that was hang after a string of poor performances:
Ta-Ra-Fergie-banner-007.jpg

The circumstances behind this is eerie similar to what you are seeing. Have patience.

 What? How is it similar?

The circumstances are nothing alike.

''We couldnt cope with their agression''

If we cant cope with the agression of a relegation club, how on earth are we going to cope with the agression of an opponent during a cup final fixture ?.....

I hate people bringing up Fergie, happened with Moyes and it seems to be starting now with Van Gaal.

I seriously laugh at the people saying give him time, it seems like a pathetic attempt to seem like a better fan because you're trusting the club and their vision. It's utterly blinkered and embarrassing.

Feck off  they're nothing alike whatsoever.

It seems more about hoping the bad results turn good so that they had stand up and say "I told you so, I win!" Because risking the club's future is a small price to pay to get bragging rights.

You do realise these issues are mostly down to him. He had last season to figure out we have very injury prone players, yet he failed to stock up on experienced defenders in the summer.
This is his midfield, he put it together, they're his signings. How the feck can he have been here for 20 months and not yet formed the 'spine of our team'.
It's all down to him, Smalling made one mistake here, but how many times did Smalling bail out LVG in the first half of the season?

People are laughing at us, I speak to other clubs fans and they literally cannot believe he is still in the job, we seem to be keeping him on the basis of not wanting to be seen as a sacking club but everyone else is looking at us and scratching their heads thinking "how the feck does this idiot still have a job".
If he had any self respect he'd walk away by Monday morning, all things considered, he's been the worse performing manager in the league this season by some distance.

Just saw him spew crap on MUTV post match interview. He doesn't look anywhere as dejected as after those losses in December. He will disappoint all of us and be around Monday. I agree with you, all the fans of the other clubs I speak with pretty much are amazed that LVG has kept his job. Woodward talks a great game but honestly he doesn't have the balls to admit failure and learn from the experience. Jose will eat him alive and that's what he and old guys like Charlton are afraid of.

What's the soonest that the club could realistically announce a sacking/new appointment? I assume stock market considerations will come into play.

Just seen the table after 16 games, we were fourth with 29 points. 10 games later we have 12 more points and have only scored 12 goals with a zero goal difference F12 A12. Shocking.

A better manager is available right now, hungry for success and hungry for United. It is simply a no brainer.
Is he available though (presuming you're talking about Mourinho)?

Firstly, after his problems that he had at Chelsea this season, I think it's for our long-term best if he has a break for a while before taking over. Let him recharge his batteries and clear his head.

Secondly, his severance package from Chelsea may very well not allow him to take another job in the premier league this season.

No amount of context could justify trying to shift the blame of our pathetic performances and results this season on the guy that last managed this team nearly three years ago(where he signed off by winning the title by 11 points), instead of maybe attributing it to two disastrous managerial appointments, shite transfer policy, player underperformance or boardroom incompetence you feel it neccessary to blame the greatest manager of all time for not ensuring the club didn't completely botch it's succession plans? Yeah, no. It was annoying during the Moyes season, but at this stage it is pure nonsense.
It's not, as at that time we had absolutely no players that had any sort of future in our squad, no players that would still be world class 3 years later, bar DDG. No coach could build a PL winning team on a non-existent foundation. Under Moyes the wrong choices have been made, we didn't address any of the team's issues, which allowed our squad to go further on the decline. Finally, under LVG we are on the right path transfer-wise, building up a squad with potentially good players again such as Shaw, Martial, CBJ, Lingard etc. These players are still very inconsistent, and that is what we are seeing on the pitch.

I'm done. Genuinely outplayed by relagation fodder .

No Herrera when we couldn't string 2 passes. Pereira not getting a look in is bullshit too.

Things are not getting better . Knee jerking posses me off but this is now a painful broken recored .
I'll take Giggs even.

Football has changed a whole lot since then.

Bout 2/3 hours.

Then Giggs should be interim until Jose come. If Ryan won't do it, he doesn't care about United as much as he has us believe, if he is quite content letting LvG drag us further and further down.

I don't understand this logic, I would love to come into a job with 6 months free of any judgement, 6 months when I can evaluate and adapt to my new environment.
It probably has to do with positivity. It wouldn't, in my mind, be nuts for him to not want to have a United team playing dire/losing football under him, and instead, have a chance of starting his United career with a bang with players he has trust in.

Why?. He is right. Many including me wanted him gone after Wolfsburg. Getting out of that group was a major target in our season. He didnt and should have been sacked then.

We let him continue on and TBF many in here predicted our downfall. I thought maybe we will go down but still scrape top4 but thats not happening.

Off he's right. I should have clarified: It's the worst move from the board's part.

I keep saying this but what if Mourinho wants to take over in the summer and not now? And Giggs don't want interim?

Moyes is free

Honestly I've no idea how the club would go about it tbh but there will be a solution somehow. Unless there's a very good reason I don't see why Mourinho wouldn't start early.

If giggs doesn't want to be interim then tell him to bugger off with LVG.

I have a question for you. What sort of results would vindicate our patience with LVG? What do you expect from him?

Presume since it was similar Fergie also spent £250m and dished up the same terrible football?

In that case I would tell him to get lost and don't even think about managing United ever again.

You are the prime example of everything that is wrong with this club.
