Makes me laugh Leicester with a terrible squad just play basic 442 attack with hard work and get brilliant results but we play negative shite every week and get results to match.

Football isn't as complex as some make out, just fecking go for it and well win some games, LVG will never do that though.

Giggs should be the interim manager the rest of the season and Mourinho to take over when the season ends. Unfortunately, if LVG continues I can see United with no Champions League next season.

I wonder if the board are aware of such poor statistics
35 shots at home on target
Depay last person to score at home in the first half...September

Surely sponsors will be putting pressure on the club as well.
This stuff is just god awful

Someone said that LVG didnt look like he cared any more. And i think that is the case. I think he said/was told to he wouldnt manage us next season and the objective now is see of the season and scrap for CL football. So i think that as long as there is a chance of catching Spurs (and its only 5 points with 1 games between the two teams) the board will stick with him. Anyhow, im growing confident that we wont see him next season.

It wouldn't make sense to appoint a manager whos available now, at the end of the season.

Reading people saying we should give it to giggs (even for rest of season)
If anyone vouches for giggs after him, he
should be put in a mental assylum. Is harming the club to the extent he has, not good enough for you ? We need immidiate change of manager and it has to be Mourinho. we have no time to let people learn the job.

I think the majority feel we may as well try something different, we aren't improving under Van Gaal.

I said earlier, the man is painfully out of his depth. I dont really care about what he did 29 years agi, the job was too big for him, he's been absolutely clueless since the start, since 352 it was obvious for me that he wouldnt win anything here. Just go.

Those who forget history are bound to repeat (and those who know feck all about it like our board).

In 2011, with Bayern struggling , the club announced that Van Gaal would be leaving at the end of the season. They tried to wait it out just like we are doing now. Instead of getting better, they got progressively worse and were in real danger of missing the UCL (just like we'll do keeping Van Gaal).

In April, the Bayern board had enough and fired him . They won their next game 5-1 against Leverkusen, and made it to the UCL places, just about.

Our season is done under this man. I've said it plenty of times, but he's simply no longer good enough for this job. Its irresponsible to allow him to continue.

I think Gill would still be connected enough to know what is going on at the club. The real question is how made up this supposed radio is.

yep. at this stage it is doing more harm than good in keeping him as manager.

I think at this point it's evident we are not going anywhere with LVG. He is not going to get 4th with these performances. Better break up the marriage and move on.

The problem of course is who do we get for the immediate. Even with that uncertainty we are better off without LVG. Get whoever for now and go after the first choice in summer.

I posted in the match day thread he would score the winner when he came on.

That shite Norwich beat us 2-1 at home a month ago. Says it all really. Liverpool fans must be raging mad we best them at Anfield last week. The only good thing about LVG has been his record against the scousers.
Maybe we gave them a dose of their own medicine and became game raising cnuts.

I've been saying this all season. You have to adapt to your market. Lvg is clearly incapable of adapting outside of his manual

Prepare for links to Neymar/bale/Ronaldo/Cavani and every tom dick and harry as woodward tries to deflect the attention of the fans. I think there might be a close to getting Guardiola rumour too and just with that you can add a new fancy name to head of academy position. The truth is this -

Glazers dont give a feck, they only care about how much money they make, Woodward doesnt give a feck, neither do Fergie/ charlton, Our club is dying, we cannot do anything about it.

Cop on

He said as clearly as he could that he is not happy with LVG.
Some very interesting insight. He's clearly pointing towards Woodward, Glazers, and the team in the USA as the decision makers on football matters.

I'm sure I remember reading that Gill is championing mourinho for the job.
I remember that too.

He clearly didn't/couldn't say much in that interview as like he said, it's not his decision to make, but what was clear to me is he's not keen on LVG. Doesn't sound keen at all on Giggs either.

Yep, it's been obvious since he arrived that he doesn't adapt to get the best out of what's available to him, he makes everything and everyone else change to what he deems right whether it works or not.

He's still a board member, or director like Sir Alex, isn't he?
If you listen to it he says there are 2 boards, one which is the main club board run by Woodward etc and the other football ambassadorial board with fergie and gill et al. He also says the football board which he sits on has nothing to do with executive decisions and only has an input if directly asked by the other board.

I think they have an opinion but basically have zero power.
