What he said is irrelevant. . Fat would actually be funny. The real worry is that he doesn't look like a man that can inspire us to success. Physically he just looks like the winds been taken out of him and he's barely keeping it together.

Did this remind anyone else of Lesley Chow talking to Alan from hangover?!

Anyway said it once, will said it again. He is obviously been told his job is on the line, hence him being so animated yesterday.

I honestly think only a win can save him on Sunday.

I agree, what was said is irrelevant, what is relevant is this kind of thing is probably the same stuff that stopped Maureen getting the job before and probably now too, he's making us the laughing stock of football with his arrogance and bs and philosophy which is obviously made up and the crap results and football but oooohhhhh nooo we can't have Maureen ffs, this board needs a massive kick up the arse NOW before it's too late!

Great, the lip readers are here

Even his "there" doesn't sound like his "that". And it's a lot better if he called him "fat", he should have called him twat.

Shaw, Morgan, Bastian, Martial and Blind all shrewd signings. Herrera and Darmain you could easily argue they were worth their fees!
I don't see how Shaw or Schneiderlin were particularly shrewd. Shaw was as obvious a signing as they come and a huge fee for a teenage full back. It could also be argued that he and Herrera were clearly scouted and decided upon beforehand and the shrewdness would be down to somebody else. Martial looks a great signing but again throwing a bundle of money at somebody isn't overly shrewd in my book. Schweinsteiger has been a disappointment and isn't close to fit enough. And let's face it. Darmian has been shite.

We are 9 points of the top with such shitty form, which makes me believe if we had made a change somewhere after Wolsfburg or Norwich, We could have been serious contenders.

So basically no credit for LVG and he's wrong if he's right and right if he's wrong!

Come on now, are we actually giving Van Gaal the stick for being a cnut to the media?

It's pretty much such as expected from him. I'd take this than the press making up a thousand excuses for Moyes while he sits there talking about "success tattoed across the badge" or something headline friendly like that.

He said "that man, there".

 at anyone thinking he's going around calling people fat ffs

I think he called him fat man.
He was p'd off, so walked out, pointing at a fat man.

In any case I care little about his press conferences. I only care about on-pitch results.
If we were spanking teams 5-0, I'd love it if he walked onto press conference completely naked. Sat there for 60 seconds while everybody gasped and then got up and said, "okay that was good, ja".

We need to win some games convincingly (not get draws/wins by penalties).

SUN MAN Neil Custis has revealed he was the man subjected to Louis van Gaal's latest rant.

The Manchester United boss was filmed calling one journalist 'fat man' after the thrilling 3-3 draw at St James' Park last night.

Neil has hit back at the taunt saying he has been struggling with his weight since a knee operation four months ago.

Neil writes: "You are right Louis I am fat.

"I had a knee operation four months ago that stopped me running and going to the gym.

"That has resulted in me putting on nearly two stone.

"But I am trying to get it all off by having a dry January and calm February and a personal trainer.

"At least I can hold my hand up to my own failings. Shame others can't."

Fergie hated him and banned him for a long time. Can see why

He hasn't got a lot to take credit for. His best performers have almost all been players here before he arrived or ones lined up beforehand. This is the truth of the matter. Instead of a glib comment you could tell me what makes his signings so shrewd.

Wonder which idiots would want us to lose to Liverpool.

Surely nobody.

The image of Klopp parading up and down the touchline at Old Trafford like he's scored the winning goal in the world cup final would surely be enough to put anyone off the thought.

I suppose the board could then dress it up as "fans' discontent after loss to rivals obliged us to fire Louis".

That's alright - the game's at Anfield.

Well I think it's funny when he storms out and whether he called the guy fat or not, I approve. At least it shows he gives a shit.

To my mind it is crazy to think the way we are playing is not the fault of the manager. My fear is, after last night, Louis' bum will be twitching and he won't want us attacking any more in case we throw away more leads.

He is like the anti-Fergie. In 2012/13 how many times did we eek out wins from disastrous positions, or throw away leads just to snatch wins at the death. Southampton (A) sticks out the most, cos of the Van Persie hat trick, but there were loads. Some of those games we might not have deserved to win but we got the three points because Sir Alex feared not winning more than losing, unlike Louis.
and we had Van Persie. Nobody on the team now comes anywhere close to his match-winning abilities that season.
