Ta.

It might be only a 2 second clip but like others have said, it shows how out of touch he is and isn't going to do him any favours. He won't give a shit though. Shame, I liked him when he got himself in shape and showed up. Hope he fecks off of our payroll now. Prick.

Is that his brother in the clip after him? Looks like a fatter version of him. All their lip-syncing is shit too.

As for Shaw. It'd be one thing if he was a teen or early 20s messing about. You're almost 30. Grow up, dickhead.

Since when was lip-syncing seen as entertainment? And why has adults acting like 14 year olds become normal? Genuinely don't understand anyone over 18 using TikTok, let alone posting them type of videos. Maybe I'm just an old fart.

This narrative is just so obtuse. He’s paid by the club to do a job which carries an exceptionally high chance of injury compared to almost all other jobs. His injury will have happened whilst he is trying to get to the level of fitness, strength and skill that the club has asked him to do. It’s not like he keeps doing parachute jumps and breaking his legs. It’s directly related to his work.

If an F1 driver crashes his car and can’t drive for an extended period he’s not ‘stealing a living’. He’s injured because he’s taking part in a sport that invites injury. It’s the same here. You can hardly blame Shaw for whatever genetics he’s inherited that make him susceptible.

That argument doesn't really wash where Shaw is concerned. He barely kicked a ball for United last season, but somehow still ended up going to the Euros with England while still injured (naturally). Missed most of the tournament injured but rushed himself back from injury to play the last couple of games, then reported back to United pre-season injured again!

Going to a tournament while still injured is a complete dereliction of his duty as a professional and to the club that pays his (exceptionally high) wages.

Imagnie jumping on tiktok and miming the words "your mums on benefits"

People getting triggered by this is weird.

Yeah, in the grand scheme of things, a United player clowning around on a tiktok video is not a big deal, right? But it speaks to the culture of the players in the club.

Like the Liverpool players in the cream suits before the 96 FA Cup Final. Was that a big deal? Probably not. But it summed up the "spice boy" culture of the Liverpool dressing room of the 90s which was why they won next to f**k all that decade.

We need to get all our spice boys out of the club.

Because 1) its not his account 2) it appears it was made for fun during the Christmas/New years holidays during a family get together 3) it was a clip lasting seconds in amongst a whole load of other contributions 4) it shows absolutely zero insight into his professional life or its impact on the club and the "culture" behind the scenes.

Get a grip?! Is he not allowed to partake in abit of light hearted fun with his friends and family? "Sorry little cuz, but I can't, theres some 40 year old blokes on the internet who will cry about it".

What is it you want to see, daily video diaries of himself crying because he's suffering injury after injury? Maybe an Michael Owen style montage of everything he's doing in training?
Footballers are only allowed to train, go home, watch their walls, then return to training. If they're feeling frisky they have the option to sit at home and watch paint dry too. They are not allowed to indulge in any extra curricular social activities.

Calling stupid things what they are, stupid, is not being triggered. This lame defence by people who can’t take criticism of the shit they put out into the world is overdone.

He’s been one of our better players when fit. But he’s 30 and often injured. I can’t remember the last time he started a game (other than the euro final). Hope we can manage to sell him

I just laughed at it because he was involved in something that was so cringeworthy. His continued absence in the team and the fact he’s as durable as wet toilet paper is more of a concern. No more contract extensions.

For someone saying others are triggered…

Let me simplify this for you, he’s allowed to post whatever he wants, I’m allowed to make fun of it and call it stupid.

No one is crying.

Nah, his brother actually looks like the athletic one.

Sidenote - I currently have sibling thirst traps of just 22/25 of the first team squad. If anyone feels like they can add to those rookie numbers please don't hesitate to message me.

You are inventing a link between the injury he had before and during the Euros, and the one he got subsequently. There’s no evidence that they are remotely related.

By the way do you also think it was an utter dereliction of duty by Rooney and Beckham, who both rushed back from injury to play for England?

Fair point about Rooney and Beckham, I actually thought about those two and wondered why United continues to tolerate England managers bringing the club's injured players to major tournaments.

Let's just say Beckham and Rooney didn't have a track record of constantly getting injured, and also had a lot of credit in the bank with United fans for what they had already achieved at the club. Neither of which can be said about Shaw.

Why are you so defensive about Luke Shaw anyway, want to swap him with Leif Davis?!

Had a friend of a friend work with the club during the Jose days and the stories about Shaw are ridiculous. Missed an away European tie once because he was late for the coach, he had an appointment for a physical check on the day of travel and was just pissing about on his phone and what not, he was warned by the club representative that they need to go and he eventually didn’t make it on time

Apparently he’s just fecking dumb

It’s not him posting this, right? It’s probably someone else making it and keep on asking for him to be in it. Who effing cares

Also, is he supposed to be miserable all the time or something. Endorphins actually speed up recovery so better encourage it if you don’t wanna be stuck with dalot and malacia for the rest of the season

Of course if we can sell him please do so

Edit: what an absolutely awful song that is

A good footballer when fit though

I think the point is that he's never fit, so it's a useless hypothetical

Well he made the PFA team of the year 3 years ago if i remember correctly. Was also our player of the year. I am sure i witnessed this thread full of praise of him whenever he played (though that seems ages ago now).

But like i said before. He is 30, injury prone and we should start looking for alternatives.
