He's been great. So good to have someone naturally go forward from full back and also be able to cross the ball.

Gave up on Shaw in recent times, but credit where's it's due he's been great tonight.
Contender for MOTM so far. Lukaku edges it if the score stays the same due to his goal, but Shaw's been great.

Good performance today. Hope he stays fit and get more chances. We're playing 2 matches per week at the moment, so one for Young and the other for Shaw, better than seeing the likes of Blind and Darmian there.

I’ve been harsh on him at times but thought he was great tonight. Clear as day how talented he is. Just needs to maintain a really good work ethic and discipline and we’ve a hell of a fullback on our hands.

Very pleased with his performance. He is very good footballer, not just LB. The way he retained possession heading the ball over opponent player and then passing the ball was class. He had nowhere to go and somehow he managed to do it.
Hopefully he will get many more chances. Looking positive at the moment.

I don't think the opinion was ever 'he's shit', but there were large question marks over his attitude, application and fitness. Piping up in hindsight after he's had 2 decent games still doesn't change that long-term. I guess this is encouraging so far from a United point of view, though.
