He played for Chelsea before and failed?
The guy literally only played 15 matches for Chelsea in this stint.
Salah also failed at Chelsea with this logic then.

I would assume relieved. He always failed being the sole striker. He has to have a 2 striker system playing for him so he can play as an SS. This is how Leipzig got him firing. He has always failed as a single striker, best utilized with a partner.Wonder how Werner is feeling right now.

Actually no. He is better utilized with a Target man who can make runs to finish off chances from Werners runs. If you watched Inter last season, Lautaro and Lukaku is the only blueprint you need to see how it will work for Werner. Conte did a great job unlocking Lukakus next level potential, especially improving him when it comes to playing with his back from goal. But isn't he best used with a more fluid striker rather than someone who will just occupy the space he's trying to run into... we've all seen how Rashford has been more threatening and scored more from the left since Lukaku was sold.
Quite happy, I reckon. He’s more of a wide attacker/supplementary forward, whilst Lukaku is a main no.9 and just had 2 great seasons playing beside a supporting striker.Wonder how Werner is feeling right now.
Chelsea are close to sealing a deal to re-sign striker Romelu Lukaku for £97.5m from Inter Milan.
Despite saying earlier in the summer he was happy to stay with the Italian champions, the 28-year-old Belgian reversed his stance this week and told Inter that he wanted to join Chelsea if the right offer was received.
Now that he's back in the PL, and not for United, he can be memed again.
Good news, this.
I seen on Twitter if this goes through then this guy has amassed nearly quarter of a billion euro in transfer fees over the years. That’s fecking crazy for someone who’s regularly labelled as a ‘donkey’ by many.
He is a bit though. Admit it.Says more about the morons who said that to be honest!
SAF liked his forwards to control a ball plus he's still very much alive. The kind of striker Fergie would have signed if he were still around

Dammit!I know just a parody of something said in the Grealish thread
Nothing too different than our team right.Ridiculous amount of money.
Lukaku £100m
Havertz £76m
Werner £50m
Chilwell £50m
Pulisic £60m
Ziyech £35m
Pressure on for the title.

Done deal!
I’m actually looking forward to seeing him play (and the comical mis controls).Shades of when we got Pogba back this. Chelsea finally decide to give Lukaku an opportunity now he's 28 and pay £70+m for the privilege.
(Think they sold him for 30)
Tuchel has spent nothing so far and won the Champions League.
Zero pressure, even if he does get Lukaku for 90odd million.
