I know Hernandez has impressed but the difficulty of Suarez's finish compared to Hernandez's is a big difference. I know both were match winners and Hernandez may still have more to show.

I'm sure Suarez is a better player, my point is that he hasnt really shown it in the tournament. Until today there didnt seem much between them. And while he did well scoring twice today, who's to say Hernandez couldnt do the same if he was starting all Mexico's matches like Suarez with Uraguay.

One thing I should have mentioned about Suarez that I dont think I did before. In this tournament he's shown he's very mediocre when playing in wide areas. So the idea of him playing wide for us or another top club - yeah right. In the middle, we'll see.

You can't always judge a player by a tournament and playing with better players, you become a better player yourself. No ones ever the finished article at 23

Andy coles a good example - you can improve and this 'kid' could easily improve with better players round him. What most people wondered about was can he get the goals? He's delivering on the biggest stage. If he was playing well and not scoring then would he be a stronger target for us?

It's got no legs but I think he's done well with the goals he's got but he could have one or two more with a little bit more composure

He has the most punchable face in the tournament, and that saying something when Donovan's also playing.

He makes some very smart runs off the ball. Both goals were class today; the second was arguably the best of this World Cup so far.

fecking hell. I mean clearly he's improved off the ball since the first games when he didnt seem to understand the offside rule. But if you hug his nuts any tighter his ballbag is likely to explode. His second was good but nowhere near the best goals in the tournament so far.

Beware the righteous fury heading your way gambs. I thought he had a very good game tonight, good touch, strong against the physical Ghanaian's and got in good scoring positions only to be stopped by agood keeping from Kingston.

Suarez >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Gyan

let's not buy Gyan, he loses games :nono: on the other hand -funny i used the word hand here- Suarez wins them, whatever the cost :)

Its fair to say that the boy had proved his worth at the highest level now. Scoring 3 goals in a world cup where even big talent had failed to score is no small thing.

Stating that I think that its a bit unfair to compare the Chicirota with Suarez. The latter is 2 years older, he has European experience and plays with a stronger national side then Mexico. Stating that if SAF plans to add a striker to his team then Suarez would do just fine. He is fast, he has a great eye to goal and can play both as Rooney's cover and as the link man.

One good thing to be said about being short on funds. We won't be buying this cheating cnut

I think he could be useful. He can play as a striker, winger, or even back-up keeper!

I still don't think we should sign him. Am more happier with Hernandez if anything at least the lad isn't a cnut.

I don't care if it is cheating or not he is a Legend for both club and country now.. That has to count for something!

I would be over the moon if we were to sign him but there are many flaws in his game too.. But he is young still..

It was hilarious last night when he got sent off and watched the resulting pen get missed from the tunnel. They way he was celebrating was so funny.

Yeah.. It was.. He is a complete cnut of a person but I can't help but like him.. Very similar to the young Ronaldo (attitude wise)

How do we know that though. He might be a right horrible little wanker, hard to tell from what we've seen of him so far. Up until last night I hadn't heard that about Suarez either, I don't think.

Still, he'd fi right in with some of the United players who have done exactly the same thing over the years: Paul Scholes, Andrei Kanchelskis, Nicky Butt etc.

Is this based on him sacrificing himself by using the hands in order to give his team a small chance of staying in the World Cup instead of a definite exit?

People are way too bounteous with the word "cnut" around here.

Woah.. Boy, Easy up I am a Suarez fan.. I just think his attitude is a bit cnutish like Ronaldo.. There is nothing wrong with that IMO.. Why do people love Jose so much? Because of how Cocky he is.. Just because I said he was a cnut doesn't mean I don't like him.. Infact him being a cnut and a little arrogant makes me like him a little bit more..

And BTW if you read my post above the one where I call him a cnut.. I called him a Legend for both Club and Country.. Also said that I would be over the moon if we signed him.. Hope this helps..

His strength on the ball is something thats impressed me alot.

Yeah. Particularly when a slight gust of wind sends him to the floor. I dont think his strength on the ball is all that, because he chooses to pretend to be a weak player. But off the ball when theres a bit of a scramble and he has to fight for the ball, he clearly has some strength. He just uses it to foul people and to play volleyball.

How is that in any way relevant to a discussion about his strength on the ball?
