Liverpool should get rid. Then again they should have when he was found guilty of racism. He's no respect for anyone, or loyalty. If they do sell him though his antics will certainly have decreased his value significantly.
I think so too he is definitely damaged goods, especially with this new incident, as last season it was claimed that he had changed etc.

I just cant quite get my head around it when I hear and read all the vehement defense of him by Liverpool fans, when you consider that only one year ago he was sticking his fingers up at the fans and wanted to leave them for Arsenal.

Not to go to a massive club and compete for the CL, not to escape the nasty old English media, not even to earn more money. Mind boggling how quickly they all forgot that.

Literally the only reason Suarez is defended by Liverpool fans is because he's good at football. That's it.

If he was some average joe journeyman, say of Stewart Downing ilk, he could not have been fecked off quicker, he'd have been labelled a disgrace to the shirt, and we'd be listening to loads of nauseating self-praise about upholding 'The Liverpool Way', dignity, class etc.

Yup. Poor Diouf never got any of this treatment. 'You'll never walk alone El Hadji'!

Still, he is irreplaceable.
I don't really think so.

All of the onfield bullshit outweighs his actual footballing ability. I think if you're missing 30+ games without receiving a single red card then you're doing something wrong and are becoming a liablity. For all his moaning about the press if he wasn't such a scumbag then he'd not have to worry about it.

I definitely think all the bullshit clouds his feasibility in terms of on field pedigree. Definitely from a fan perspective. Imagine trying to man manage an odious cnut in this vein, nightmare stuff.

That's him gone then.

I'd say that unless transfer has been in the works for a while (and there's every chance it has), then the offer must be very favourable to Liverpool.

Yet again though he's just gone and made everyone that's be sticking up for him look bigger fools.

All but confirms he's off. :( One of the most entertaining players I've ever had the pleasure of watching. Up there with Barnes as the most talented player to play for us. He's mental, but what a player.

I've not been following today, what suggests he's off ?

Let's hope he truly fecks off now. Liverpool will be far weaker without him no matter who they buy.

The story goes for his move to Barca to be confirmed he has to apologise. A day or two after this story arises, he goes against everything he has said on the incident and apologises.

There were tons of reports this morning that Barcelona wanted him to apologize if they were to continue with their interest.

"No, your honour, I didn't punch him. But I accept he may have suffered the physical effects of a fist."

:D

If Liverpool can get 30m + Sanchez they should take it instead of holding out for cash. They wouldn't be able to spend the money better, or get anywhere near as good a replacement as him.

I doubt Sanchez would want to go there.

I would take that too. Then we can look at getting a left back, centre back and another attacking player in.

If we put him on the money Suarez was on...

Anything you offer, the likes of us and Arsenal can match and better.

Really hope we're in for him. If not, hope he goes to Juve :D. He'l be fantastic in the prem.

Barcelona could try to push him to Liverpool though. We might not even be in for him.

For sure. I'm not saying Sanchez is worth 50m (assuming it's 80m cash for Suarez) but you wouldn't be able to buy a better player with that 50m. I doubt you'd get someone even close to his level.

I cant even imagine how awful it would feel to be a barca fan and having to cheer Suarez just because "he plays for my club". Liverpool fans should be glad he is not playing for them anymore.

They cant push him anywhere. His decision where he goes.

Glad he's leaving the premier league. Just goes to show what a bunch of muppets you lot in Merseyside are for standing by him over and over again and vilifying Evra on the basis of Suarez' lies. It won't be forgotten.

Hopefully this apology does signal his last days in the Premier League. He isn't truly remorseful otherwise this wouldn't be the third biting incident, so he'll simply continue to conduct himself like a lunatic on the field. I find it quite disgraceful that Barcelona are actually willing to sign him, as he'll just drag their name through the dirt in the coming seasons anyway. Remarkable player, but a truly despicable character.

He's gone now. He was probably leaving before the bite but this cements it for me.

A shame because I think he'd cause Liverpool more problems if he stayed there. He's going to do something extremely silly on a football pitch one day, worse than a bite too I reckon.
