:lol::lol:
Proof that this is the funniest thread in the whole history of t'net.

He's smiling. He's clearly just signed his contract with Dortmund, Bayern, Milan or Juventus and thats why hes celebrating

He's smiling and trying to hide an erection, looks chuffed to me.

Some players are just uncomfortable celebrating when they don't feel they have contributed, or at least as much as they would have liked. I don't think he can be criticised. For all his faults, his performances, demeanour and what he's said when he's been interviewed tell the story of a humble bloke who cares a lot about playing for us and wants to be a top class player. If he's off then it's a shame and good luck to him.

Well said.

I'm gonna make a prediction that IF (and only if) Nani moves to a club like Spurs, maybe Athletico Madrid or a team of that sort of level, where he is first choice and starts most games - he will have a blinding season and make us look foolish for selling him.

I'm kind of the opinion it's folly to sell Nani but I think the writing is on the wall with him, for whatever reason. If we had him playing consistently at his top form he's easily up there with our very best attackers.

:rolleyes:

He'll obviously go to a better team than Spurs if he leaves too

It's always hard to predict those kind of things, but he definately has quality for that.

edit: I was refering to Walrus' post.

Thought it was surprising he nor anyone else bar welbeck came on yest, didnt make sense when we were so comfortable but oh well. Don't think the signs are very good for nani but who knows, I think if he hasn't been so in and out of the side this season and was playing as he could he'd have a bargaining chip but he's been off form for a bit now. Can't see him getting big money at a similarly competitive club and why step down. Though guess we don't know the full story if the reports on youngs wage are true. If we sell him though its gonna be proper cut price.

So Nani will be involved in the next few weeks. Probably to get his value up a bit before his inevitable sale, or to let potential suitors know he still exists.

Generous of Sir Alex to get Nani involved in these last few weeks with some of the other young players, it's not like we could've used him any other time when he's been fit.

Nope, especially since Valencia and Young have been in such incredible form all season long.
