He's there...but he doesn't look in a celebratory mood.

I've called it for a while, and today has made me certain that he's off.

Yeah his body language was clear as day - you could argue he should be happy no matter what seeing as we've won the title, but he clearly doesn't feel a part of this title win and it'll be interesting to see where he ends up.

He's there celebrating. I just saw him singing we are the champions.

Well he won't get a medal cause he's only started six games in the PL, I believe?

Or is it overall appearances? If so, he has ten.

He was there and he half-hearted joined in with the sing-along, but his body language was very subdued, and he was more focused on congratulating everyone, rather than celebrate. He stayed out o the spotlight and went around shaking everyone's hand, probably because he doesn't feel he's really contributed to this title - and he'd be right.

Yeah, he was congratulating to everyone. That's everything you can expect from him, so fair play to him on that.

Lindergard is celebrating. Buttner is.

It's their first ever Premier League title at their new club, Manchester United. They are fringe players who never really expected to play a major part this season.

Quite a bit of difference from a player who in the past has had a huge part in securing titles. Not that I expect you to see this.

Ouch !

Did we expect him to celebrate... hasn't really been involved this season. However lets give the Nani thread a break for a day. He could still sign a new contract and start fresh next season, forgetting this one happened.. Fat chance but you never know.

So Anderson and Fletcher won't have been celebrating had they been there ? Like feck they would.

Don't get what the last part is about either, but yeah go on..

Really says something about you rather than him. I'm not surprised he isnt celebrating, in fact I didnt even see him but I guess I missed the shots.

It could easily be that he feels he didnt play a big enough part in the season to celebrate it like the rest of his title wins, but I think its understandable that everyone has jumped to the conclusion that its because he's leaving at this point.

Fletcher is a red through and through and has been out of actions due to entirely different reasons than Nani - comparing the two is beyond stupid. Not that I expect you to see this.

Nani is not a Manchester United fan, he's a Manchester United player who is in the worst period of his career at the moment and on his way out of the club at the end of a season where he hasn't made a contribution at all; due to injuries, poor form and lack playing time.
He has been a part of title wins in the past, he knows what real joy is like, when you have had a part in securing said title. That wasn't the case this season, and thus he could either fake the emotions or he could stay in the background and pay his respect to those who actually played a part. He chose the latter.

Different players react differently. I personally would be acting like Nani, happy for my teammates but disappointed in my own contribution. It was always hard for me to be truly happy about wins that I didn't play a part in.

What's the difference there ?

I don't have a major problem with him not celebrating particularly tbh. (Don't see as the right reaction though as you put it.) Probably also think the reason might be different.

Edit - No need for the defensive reaction ITBT.

Anderson is happy that he got some games for United. Some wouldnt give them to him.

Nani knows he can do better than play a small part in our title win

Will miss him when he is gone. Still think one of the best wingers around.

You were the one who came in to this thread to tell us all that Lindegaard and Butner were celebrating - you obviously had something to say about Nani not celebrating, but chose your typical passive aggressive way of doing so in this thread.

Some players are just uncomfortable celebrating when they don't feel they have contributed, or at least as much as they would have liked. I don't think he can be criticised. For all his faults, his performances, demeanour and what he's said when he's been interviewed tell the story of a humble bloke who cares a lot about playing for us and wants to be a top class player. If he's off then it's a shame and good luck to him.

Aye, it's worse knowing we will get very little for him because of his contract situation. Almost certain he's gone now though, not just for tonight but the last 6 months it's been pretty clear.

Still a fantastic player and better than either Young or Valencia but I think his time is up with us and Fergie seems fine to let him go. Hopefully we can get close to £20m and at least get a small profit.

Players come and players go. Has hardly played this year and we are miles clear. He's talented but very inconsistent. Frankly trust Welbeck more out wide in a more fluid system.

Time for him to move on I imagine. Same with Ando who has totally disappeared of late.

Shame for both of them. I have no doubt both will be replaced.

No way.
1 year left on his contract and clearly not in the managers first 11. We'll be lucky to get half of that for him going by the fees we've received for players in the past.

I hope we sell him off to some far away place. He is probably one of the most talented players we will ever let go (not named Ronaldo). Coming into his prime too.

Honestly...this thread is f*cking embarrassing. Better not swear in case I get a ban again unlike the fanboys that get away with swearing and insulting behavior.

Title #20. Celebrate and move on.

You were the one who was trying to sugar coat things by saying that just because he hasn't played a major part he isn't celebrating and he's right in it when all other players in similar situations celebrate irrespective. If he had signed a new contract and/or played the last couple of games irrespective of what has happened before, you think he would still not be celebrating ?

So Ando took a picture where he is smiling, and that means he is happier than Nani?

I will now post a picture of Nani singing, and Giggsy's picture from today where he isn't smiling, and by your logic that would mean Nani is happier than him.

Who's above Kagawa? Valencia or Nani?
