Hernandez wasnt bad either, just never got any sort of support when it got to 2-2

he rarely combines with team-mates, has to work on his link-up play

Nani's been brilliant. His and Berba's performances have glossed over the fact that we don't play well as a team. We rely too much on individual brilliance at the moment, there is no fluency in our game.

I'd admit his link up is not consistant but i've seen him and Berba link up well at times. Also i was just going for "list of players who look like they care"

Feel sorry for him and Berbatov, our only good attacking players who have to watch all their hard work and at times brilliance come to nothing via a shit midfield and a spasticated defence.

Reminded me of Bayern last year, it was just not an as important game (well looking at the table it probably was) as back then.
I really felt for him today and against the German cnuts, because he had a really really good game and, as you've mentioned, it came to nothing down to some stupid individual errors.

Hernandez was fine. He gets in the positions, but Berbatov and Nani seem to not want to pass to him. He would have had 3 simple chances had Nani and Berbatov passed him to ball instead of dancing around in circles with it.

Interesting stat after todays game on Nani, thats now 28 goals + Assists for him in his last 28 matches, hes the top assister in the premier league in 2010, thats pretty darn good consistency for you.

Thank christ for him frankly, hes carrying the attack on his own at times, saw he scored a couple for Portugal the other night to, hes in special form, has been since January to be honest.

Can't stand him he's a waste of time, 1 good game out of 10 isn't good enough.

He's been better than Berbatov IMO. Nani has been one of our best players pretty much every time he's played, Berbatov has still had the occasional game where he's slipped under the radar a bit.

Lol, okay then. Seeing as he's been out best attacking player this season imo, that's very very very harsh and pretty stupid.

Nani has been our best player bar Berbatov this season.

He's been better than Berbatov this season.

Today Berbatov had a good game all around but his finishing seemed to be like the Berba of old. There was a point where the ball dropped for him in the box but instead of shooting first time (which would have probably been a goal) he chose to delay and moving around someone and miss.

Nani has been very good. I'm not being smart, but if he had of looked up today and actually passed it, Hernandez would have had 2 or 3 simple chances. This and his inconsistent crossing has to improve. When it does, and I'm sure it will, he will probably become the best winger in the league.

I think he already is the best in the league. Only Malouda and Bale are at his level.

I remember that. He was running on to it and I was like he's going to hit it first time and score. Instead he decided to take it around a defender and eventually the angle worked against him.

But I think the defender would have possibly blocked it had he taken it first time.

The real miss of the game was where the ball fell to him right infront of goal and he struck in wide from the centre of the goal. Crazy miss. Top strikers shouldn't miss those.

Yeah I remember that miss. that was unbelievable. Some of his finishing and confidence in front of goal was similar to the Berba of the last 2 years but his overall play was very good.

Nani's improvement has been amazing, from someone who couldn't get a first team place, to pretty much carrying us this season along with Berbatov. I think he deserves more appreciation. The quality of his goals have been outstanding as well, one of the players of the year at the moment for sure, but I doubt he'll even get a look in.

I'd love for Nani to be a success but the fact is (IMHO) he's not clever enough to play for us. Sure he's had plenty of assists this year but he has taken all corners & free kicks in a pretty piss poor star to a season.

Not a WU and I'm not a WUM, I just think he's not cut it for us...and that's the opinion I have and get from the guys I drink with before the game, during and after the game. Maybe some of you internet geeks need to get of your fat arses and get to the game and see how he is playing for real instead of reading stats and spouting bollocks. If you're to far away then how about supporting a local team!!!

It's not fair to judge him on his set pieces ability simply cause he's the best choice we have. What if Rooney or Scholes would be taking them? Same outcome but it'll be their reputation on the line.

Alcoholic

I think he's stupid. Y'now they say that Rooney is a clever player (and he is) well Nani is the flip side...stupid as feck but with awesome potential.

Just shows that you don't need a brain to play football apparantly, cause our clever Rooney is struggling a bit, footballing wise and privatly.

EDIT: I don't know why I even responded... I shouldnt get into dumb shit as that

If he carries on like this past christmas, he really deserves to be up there for player of the year.

Cant see him winning it over other high profile players, but in 2010 he's been more productive than anyone.

Do you understand the football brain? Knowing where to run, where to receive the ball, when to start your run...I could carry on.

Rooney has it, Nani doesn't.

Dreadful post. He's the one player we have that's actually performing. And I'd like to see just how many of his assists have come from corners. feck all I'd say. Even if they had, why would that be suc a bad thing? Historically we've been awful at corners.

And this Internet vs stadium position your taking. There's not a single lad I sit with, or drink with pre or post game who shares your sentiment. You'd get sparked talking rubbish like that near me. Total shite

You're chatting absolute bollocks there mate. His form's been better than pretty much every other player in the league, and there's still plenty of room for improvement. How you've come to the conclusion that he's not good enough is beyond me.

Rooney has it, Nani doesn't.

Have you actually watched United play this and last season or are you just beeing a prick right now, because if you had you'd realise that Nani surely has this "football brain".

Must add - I would love for Nani to prove me wrong.

He already has, you're just too stupid to see it.

If your posts came a year ago a lot of people would understand. In this past year he has 100% completely proven himself at United, all doubts and myths shattered. Pay attention next time.

Knobhead...I GO to every game.

Not even last year or the year before talking bollox like that could be understood or excused.

All this shite about him having no football brain is really getting absolutely ridiculous.
If you saw the assissts, passes and runs he has made in his United carreer so far everyone could see that he always had it. He may have made wrong decisions in the past but I think that really has improved a lot last year.
