It's not inconceivable that the journalist just reverse engineered this one, i.e he heard Fergie won't be present at the friendly so he invented the 'medical soon for no. 1 target' story. He could just as well be filming a Chevy advertisement for all we know

They re saying that they agreed a fee with Sao Paulo but still have to agree with Lucas (or better with his agent). My impression is that Inter Milan's hope all rest on convincing Lucas telling his club that he prefers to go to Italy and then hope that they convince Sao Paulo to accept a smaller transfer fee - which is highly unlikely imo. Maybe that's why they are considering plan B - which is Gaston Ramirez of Bologna (the dippers also want him apparently).
