Television Lost: The Final Season

I finally caught up with the show to the current episiode, eagerly anticipating what happens next like the rest of you'll. How do you watch it? Live stream? Download? I watched all past episiodes from ninja video...

Check your Pm shortly my friend.

It's over as far as filming goes...

Could someone accidentally drop a link to tonight's episode into my PM box once its out if possible...

This is what the same sources scored the episodes already aired before they were earlier in the year. Along side them are the average scores of votes from the fans after they aired. They're eerily accurate so far.

Don't click this if you don't want to know the future episode titles from 11-15 and how good they're likely to be.

Obviously doesn't really mean shit, but interesting.

Just wanted to point out that according to these ratings, tonight's episode is going to be the second best of the season, just behind Ab Aeterno :D

I've decided I'm going to avoid this thread til after the finale. Can't risk having anything even slightly spoiled for me from now on.

See you on the 24th.

I'm posting to myself here, but Good news....!!

The producers of ABC's hit drama have shot so much crucial material for the show's hugely anticipated finale that the network has agreed to extend the last episode by an extra half hour.

When the "Lost" finale airs on Sunday, May 23rd, the episode will run from 9 to 11:30 p.m. The overrun will air instead of the local news, with the "Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost" post-finale special remaining at 11:30 p.m. ABC is expected to announce the plan on tonight's episode of Kimmel.

I don't really know what to think of that.
It was a bit too sudden and 'pointless' for my liking. But that's probably because I've built it up to be something it's not, where I expect some kind of epic and destiny-breaking moment when big characters die.

I was hoping most of the characters would still be there for the finale. It just seems a bit too straightforward and simple now with them versus Locke, but hopefully they have some more surprises in store for us.

I don't know, I'm just a bit underwhelmed by the prospects of the last couple of episodes.

I almost sure how it ends and I said it two years ago, its all working out (smug mode)

Jack becomes the new Jacob and gets everyone off the island except for the man in black (Locke) and it all starts all over again with more Dharma and more plane crashes and survivors etc

So it looks like this is what's gonna happen. Surely it'd be too predictable though?

But it's all starting to look that way..

First of all let me echo Mockney's statement, Holy...fecking......crap balls indeed.

I guessed about the bomb, first time I've ever guessed anything in Lost :D.

Didn't really like the way they killed Lapidus, as soon as the plane was out of commission then it was obvious his days were numbered but he didn't even get a mention at the beach :(

Did not expect jin and sun dying at all, even until the end I thought they'd somehow escape.

Despite not being needed by either widmore or flocke kate manages to get by ok, wonder if they're setting her up for something big.

Locke can sense them being alive, but he can't sense desmond being alive, just what is des!

What was up with Bernard in the flashsideways? He seemed to know too much.

I think that he knows that all the candidates aren't dead because he's still not able to leave. Since Desmond isn't a candidate he can't sense him being alive in the same manner.

I don't really know what to think of that.

Same for me. Do not think they have paced this season well. It is either a very slow episode or too much action/plot movement in one.

Sayid could have just ran with the bomb instead of running with it BTW

Really enjoyed that episode, lots happening.

Can't believe the death count there either, ridiculous! I expected maybe one death before the finale, and maybe some more at that point, so felt Illana's death would've been the last. Really surprising stuff.

Jack right now is probably my favourite character for the first time throughout the entire 6 series. Those final scenes with him were all pretty awesome.

Wonder what Alpert and co. are up to now then? Can't wait until next week's now.

Meh those deaths didn't really have that strong an effect on me. We'll still see them all in alternate world, and possibly if they decide to merge the timelines or bring them together somehow the emotional impact of the deaths will be even more negated.

This is what flashed half way through

edit: I am being told that this was due to the torrent I downloaded due to poor editing from the supplier...damn him! Ive been looking at that site trying to find something for ages!

Ok my willpower is rubbish, but I had to come back in just to say

:(:(:(:( Sayid, Jin & Sun! Did not see that many deaths coming. I still have hope for Frank, we just saw him get hit by the door, if he would have died I think he'd have had an on-screen death like the others.

Gutted

Not arsed by the deaths to be honest. Not sure why, it's just got to the stage where I don't particularly know what/why things are happening and it's sort of going through the motions. It's too different from the early seasons.

feck this.....how easy it is , kill everyone and that's it

You people who are saying the deaths didn't effect you are mental.

Sayid trip to the dark side followed by his final redemption... Jin and Sun finally reunited only to die in eachothers arms so soon after... Jack ironically being the 'man of faith' right at the very end before Sawyer went against him. It's been great writing.

One has to wonder... if the deaths have no impact on you or you don't care about the characters then why are you even watching it still?!

I'm still gutted. These are characters that have been with us for 6 years, we've watched them grow and change over the time, killing 3 of them at once was big. Season one Sayid was awesome.

I half expected Sayid to die this season - he seemed destined for a moment of self-sacrifice to redeem himself. Didn't see the Sun and Jin deaths coming - but we may still see their apparitions on the Island.

The preview for the next episode made it seem like we're going to see a rather evil side of Jacob

WARNING: Spoiler may include future spoiler.

I take it from those two replies he said something he shouldn't have? Yeah, I'll just not read that spoiler.

See why these omni-spoilers are so stupid? Suddenly some jackass turns up with something that, lo and behold, isn't a spoiler from the last episode.

Cheers for the warning Ivor, I'd have opened that if you hadn't replied. As for M16 I think he should be banned from the thread for giving no warning if it's a future episode spoiler.

Sayid's death actually had me gobsmacked. Cannot believe they killed him off, he was one of my favourites.

Sun and Jin dying together was pointless IMO. They've got a daughter off-island ffs but they'd rather the daughter be raised by someone else and die together in some sort of romance? Didn't buy that, was a little saddened but had a more overriding feeling of 'You idiots.'

I was hoping Kate would die first but it seems she'll have a big role to play.

Damn Sawyer and his ego! Jack has become very likeable as a character now

Just to clarify it isn't a big spoiler or anything. Just mentions the preview for next week, a character who will be in it and how they appear to be acting. Won't ruin things for anyone but I like to go into each week without any idea of what to expect.

I just fecking read that - that really is an ultra-spoiler

Jack and Sawyer have both killed people now with bad decisions, although you might argue that Jack's was worse as it was all his idea. Sawyer was only acting against what Locke had already set in motion
