I've been wondering whether somehow it'll end up with Jack and Sawyer as the new Jacob/Smokey having to spend eternity together on the island.
Give it a few years and a few crap movies and she'll get nekked.

I find there is something unique about us Lost fans compared to every other tv show fan - we all like to think we know everything there is in the Lost universe and its always a constant battle in discussion with regards to who the better fan is.

Earlier i claimed that ben and widmore will take the place of jacob and smokey but seeing that the island was under water in ep1 makes me think that widmore took the place of smokey but no one took the place of jacob and as a result the island was destroyed.
We've seen all the candidates off the island so its safe to assume im pretty much spot on

Do you folks in the UK get to see the Cliffs Notes version of the previous week's episode just before the new one airs?
Does any body else think that the writers were trying to give us a hint by showing us the time in alt sawyers clock ? The numbers were 8 and 42 so maybe saywer saves hurley and jin and eventually gets on team jacob.
I bet flocke was the one who killed those people because technically widmore has never lied! Also widmore isn't an idiot to believe saywer that easily..he probably fooled both sawyer and flocke by letting sawyer go.

Boring.
That was awful. They could have easily condensed the last two episodes into one. This one was just us watching people walking around and chatting about things we already knew/don't really care about.
We did find out that the smokie is definately flocke.

And that Widmore is not team Flocke.
They need to be careful with these flash sideways as they're not as interesting as the flashbacks/forward and the initial 'ooh look ethan delivered claire's baby' and 'wow jin and sayid meet' is losing it's charm when it's 'ah right that's charlotte, she was always pretty bland'

We also found out that Locke isn't really Locke. Atleast they confirmed Locke is dead.

Thought it started well and trailed off really. Some nice moments early on, but it finished on a very poor note I felt. Wasn't terrible by any means, but unfortunate that the series, in my view, had really started to hit a stride only to be followed by this. It's fine to have a filler episode when you feel there's a need to set things up for future episodes, but this was just a bit dull.

Little touches like "LaFleur" and working with Miles were nice. Interesting to see Sawyer's life being quite radically different, but still having the revenge dictate him. Locke slapping Clare was good, was a little bit scary to see him like that in Locke form. Kate stuff was uninteresting, so now her and Clare have no issue? What was the point making one in the first place then? Obviously Aaron was something that had to be dealt with, but why create a conflict if it's going to be resolved that quickly? The Hydra Island stuff was pretty dull too, aside from the discovery of the bodies, which was done very well I thought.
All we got were a few questions answered, and none of them were very good. Will Clare attack Kate? Yes, but Clare will then get over it. Is Sawyer really going to work with Locke? Yes, but he'll try con his way out, obviously. What 'side' is Widmore on? Against Smokey. Will Jin get an interesting storyline this series? No. No he won't.
