the monster is the course corrector....it sees people future and analysis them and if it thinks that there thinking will change or they will alter things which weren't supposed to be done or something like that then it kills them like it killed eko because his personality had changed while on the island and most he would have acted differently that what he was detained for...eg like he was a drug lord off the island and on the island he became a religious and spiritual and that would have altered his thinking so the smoke monster killed him.
He changed before the island. He was working in his brother's church in his brother's place.

Jacob has a big role to play and all this time theories don't account for that. Time travel would be a relevant part in the story but this time loop thing won't be it.

i phoned they virgin media cnuts and told them i was changing to sky and they told me they would buy me the series 3 boxset , so now im waiting for the season 4 to go on dvd... best show ever. i hope they drag it on forever

Henry Gale (remember him?) was in a balloon sponsored by the Widmore corp when he died (was killed/) on the island and Ben Linus took his identity.. Desmond was in a boatrace sponsored by the Widmore Corporation when he was shipwrecked on the island. The Widmore Corp are trying to find the island for some reason.........Hmmmm....

Assuming Claire dies as she doesn't really bring that much to the show anymore now Charlie is dead.
They have lost the plot a bit in last two episodes. In both of them flash forwards consumed more screen time than island stuff. FF or FBs should only supplement the island things not be the main focus of it.

I think we'll see more action next Thurs, it's a Desmond centric and focuses on what happened when they left on the chopper, why it hasn't arrived at the ship, looks good.
