Lost Series 4 *BE AWARE THIS THREAD MIGHT INCLUDE SPOILERS*

It suggests he's not there anymore, so the doctors found it weird that she was calling for him.

Dude that makes no sense.

The doctors will believe he is dead as will the rest of the world, for some reason the 6 are lying about the amount of survivors.

Why doesn't it make sense? He is still on the island, he may be alive or he may be dead

Nothing has happened up to now to suggest he is definitely dead.

What?

We already know she got off. And I don't see a scenario arising where she would leave without Jin even if it means risking her life. And if she did then she would be trying everything in her power to get back and not crying in front of a false tombstone.

I disagree. I think she'd leave to save her child's life, Jin wouldn't let her stay and die.

What could she do to get back on the island? Something or someone is stopping her from telling everyone about the survivors. I doubt she's going to try and get back there herself, especially after just giving birth.

yes in season 2

Do you remember when?

From what i remember in Season 2, Desmond does a runner from the hatch and goes off in his sailbot.

We next see Desmond when they are burrying Libby. They see the boat and Jack (i think) swims out to it, only to find Desmons drunk.

Very shortly after, Michael goes on a mission to get back Walt - though he's actually just leading Jack, Sawyer, Kate and Hurley to the others.

I dont think they ever met - could be wrong though.

The next episode is a Michael-centric one which gives us the story of how he got there. Its called 'I am Kevin Johnson' or something similar

Yup, I saw a sneak peak of the episode

SPOILERS(ISH)

It has Locke and his team in one of the houses with Ben and Miles, they talk about why Miles is there, and then someone goes 'Ben won't even tell us who his man on the boat is', and straight away Ben goes 'It's Michael' made me laugh.

One thing I liked about last episode is the Captains willingness to actually answer questions straight up. Although the note said don't trust the captain, it was quite refreshing to hear.

expect a cliffhanger in the next episode

Finally watched it, Good episode but i couldnt read what Jin and Sun were saying because it was covered over in subtitles...

Has anyone considered Michael is the last member of the Oceanic 6? Possible?

The OCEANIC 6 have been revealed

Jack
Kate
Jin
Sun
Hurley
Sayiid

I don't think Jin is one of them, as the tombstone had the date of the crash on it. If they have already been revealed then it looks as if they are counting Aaron as one of them.

don't think it could be Aaron as he wasn't on the flight, i rckon there is one more they havent told us about yet

no idea who though

6 that survived
Jack
Kate
Michael
Sun
Hurley
Sayiid

2 that died
Jin
Claire

Regarding the two bodies, this is what Lindelof said in a recent interview

UGO: So the story for the Oceanic 6 is that they came from a group of 8 survivors. Are we going to find out the identity of the other 2 supposedly not so lucky survivors?

DAMON LINDELOF: Well, that is part of the fiction as concocted by the Oceanic 6. Many, many things that Jack said on the stand at Kate's trial were untrue, although he was under oath, like the Marshall dying in the crash for example. We want to be very clear on the idea that there were only ever the Oceanic 6. The identity of those other two people are not as important as people are making them out to be, it just makes it feel like a more believable fiction.

that cant be right though mate, if Jin is buried and his headstone reads the date of the crash it means it could not have been him

must have been a curveball from the writers

I don't think Jin is one of them, as the tombstone had the date of the crash on it. If they have already been revealed then it looks as if they are counting Aaron as one of them.

Oh i didnt see that all i saw was japanese letters. My bad

so 6 got off and one of them died so now there are 5 left taking into account that jin never got off the island

i came to this conclusion:

6 that got off the island
Jack
Kate
Michael
Sun
Hurley
Sayiid

but Michael died and no body came to his funeral because he betrayed them at the end of season 2 thats why when jack asked kate why she didnt come she said why do i care or something along those lines.

Dunno if I've posted this before but this is a great read after each episode

http://lost-and-gone-forever.blogspot.com/

Has a lot of good theorys and summaries, etc... Clears some stuff up and is a good read.
The guy on the blog is right about Jin's death. Sun would have never gotten through the trouble of getting her date on the tombstone so that she could get buried at the same place if Jin was not actually dead and buried there.

she would if she was trying to make it convincing that he was dead.

As Ivor said, she needs to convince everyone else he is dead by acting exactly as she would if he was.

In the comments section of that blog people are pointing out that Sun didn't want to remove the wedding ring when she was giving birth, this must be of some importance else why would they include that?

For me Jin is another unanswered question, I'm not convinced either way.

maybe jin's death is staged to get rid of the past (pre island )

I thought that at first. But Michael is Bens man now - cant seem him being let off now.

Im thinking that we wont find out till the second half of the season.

Your probably right on that, unless he is working for ben in the real world, like Sayid.

So, does anyone trust the captain?

Well it’s consistent with what the other freighter people who are on the island are saying.

Though I find it very hard to believe that Ben, or anyone, could stage a place crash with over 300 bodies. Mind you, a lot in Lost is hard to believe.

I think the plane went though some kind of time shift when crashing. So there are 2 of all of the Losties – 1 dead on the bottom of the sea and 1 on the island.

Widmore may think that it’s staged because he’s not aware of the whole time travel thing.

Hmm interesting theory :)

I never thought about that
