Television Lost: Season 5

I was refering to you elaborating on next weeks promo.

I think we all know Desmonds not Richards son.

the smoke monster is supposed to be based on the cerberus so what are the odds that there are more than one smokey on the island ? one scans people, one kills and one manifests because the cerberus has three heads.

Ah then we'll find out how he got so beaten up before getting on the plane. It's nice how they've reverted back to the good ol' formula of flashbacks ala season 1, without confusing it with flashforwards (although the Jin flashback/Sun flashforward ep was one of the best of that season).

im starting to like jack

in the end ben looks like as if he's seen a ghost and it also sort of clears why ben doesn't remember sayid shooting him

total balls. terrible explination of why ben would not remember it. basically filling in plot gaps. aaron story line weak.

poor poor poor

sighs...same time next week it is

Agreed. Was a massive cop out by writers, just like the 316 plane thing.

Why could not Kate tell Jack about Aaron? Or that she was going back to get Claire? In fact, I don't think they gave enough reason why Kate would suddenly change his mind after being adamant on staying away. All the off island stories involving Locke and O6 have been really weak this season.

Thought it was a damn good episode oddly enough. I liked how they filled the gaps in Sawyers and Kates storyline off the island. Was pretty predictable she would give Aaron back to Claires mother, that much was obvious.

The supermarket scene was nicely done, espically as they got someone to look like Claire. That really pushed the message home that Aaron wasn't her child and it was about time she let go and do the responsible thing.

Good to see Jack growing a pair. Ironically though, if he had helped then Ben may not have turned into the adult Ben we know, after all Richard said he'll lose his "innocence". So congratulations Jack, you've just turned Ben into Ben!

Wheres the Kate/Roger storyline heading I wonder?

Oh and the best part of the episode was Hurleys conversation with Miles. Hilarous.

Ditto. Thought it was a pretty good episode myself. Answered a lot of questions and sets up nicely for what should be a great next few episodes. Can't wait to see what happens inside the temple. Been enjoying the show again, now that they've gone back to the good ol' flashback formula.

Miles and Hurley do make a good comedy duo, don't the ? That conversation was so funny and still so hugely critical to the show. Well done.

I thought the Hurley, Miles storyline was funny, if not lacking in subtlety..

Unless im dense, it still didnt really clarify the issue really.

Yeah it's nice to have a bit of predictability. A nice normal story-line, if they did shock after shock it would get way too complicated. You need a bit of stability in-between them.

The Kate/Roger story-line was a bit random, am also wondering where it is going.

I don't really think it was supposed to clarify anything. More as a way to show that the writers are aware of what the fans are thinking/theorising.

fair enough, makes more sense. It did seem more like a salute to the fans, rather than a deus ex machina instrument.

My flat mate mentioned this to me....It's probably been mentioned but I can't be arsed to sift through 32 pages to see if it has...

Has anyone noticed how the 4 people summoned by the others in the Season 2 finale are the 4 people (from the crash) who now work for 70s Dharma...Sawyer, Jack, Kate & Hurely.

I love these little things cos they seem to confirm my faith in the writers...It's surely not a leap to assume they where summoned for this very reason!

Roll on the next episode...SPOILER-ISH - I Love Ben- Centric Episodes

Yes I noticed that. But then thought what about Jin?

They only wanted Hurley so that he could go back to tell the rest what had happened.

Yeah I said this a while ago, but it was quickly dismissed as coincidental and that list was purely for bens surgery

Good point...Damn

OK, well maybe he goes off somewhere to find Sun and the rest end up doing something unspeakable to the others...or maybe he just never comes into contact with Richard....I'm only going to confuse myself now

Watching the latest episode again on Sky 2.

feck knows what I'm gonna do when LOST finishes. Love this show.

they should create a new spin off series but during the black rock time line.

Sawyer is gradually working his way to the top of my list of favourite characters.

I don't actually have a list, it's in my head.

I may write a list.

you lot really will lap up any old shit without question wont you??!!

richard: yes...if we take ben he wont remember any of this

audience: aaaaah ok....thats why he doesnt remember sayed as an adult!!!

nothing to do with the fact these mugs have been making it up as they go
