Television Lost: Season 5

i saw a documentry a few months back that suggested egyptians created the lightbulb with the help of aliens......please no aliens on this show :nervous:

Watt??

i wacthed a documentary on discovery or something about the existence of aliens and some crazy theory is that they visited us in egyptian times, showed us how to make electricity etc and they buggerd off. Then the egyptians ran out of the special shit they gave them to make the electricity and then it was forgotton how it worked.

complete bullshit IMO

You completely missed Livvie's pun.

really?!!!!!!!!!!1

Good episode that. Also, with all the deus ex machina bitching around here, it's nice to see that the temple didn't actually feck up Ben. He remembered his father, yet also remembered his desire to be an Other, and didn't want to go back. I remember way back when the first theories about smokey were surfacing and there were some stills of Eko being judged, with his past being relayed back to him, so that must've been in the works for quite some time. CGI was a bit shit though. Finally, it's good to see Desmond pummelling the shite out of Ben, although I feel that somehow Des will return to the island, but the manner in which I have no clue.

Anyone else felt Locke's conversation with Sun where he said something like "I'm still the same man I was before" felt a bit strange and forced?

Something strange about the whole thing.

filler ep in my book....We'd guessed smokey judged like that cos it's exactly how eko was (flashes showing his past followed by apparition of loved one telling him what to do)...so no new info there..

I also refuse to believe they've killed Sayid from La Haine after appearing only minimaly

the most significant part of the ep was Ben saying "what's gonna come out of that jungle is something I can't control" and Locke walking out IMO

also....I'd feck the shit out of Alex

filler ep in my book

i think not.

widmore being banished seemed rather civilized going by how the others do stuff. ben must have moved the island after the sub dropped off widmore because otherwise widmore would know where the island is.

and he said he was searching for the island for 20 years and yet he was banished in the 90's

So is Anubis the god of death, Jacob? I think Locke might be just like Christian atm, under Jacob's control.

Smokeys spiral with all of Ben's memories was a bit too cheesy imo.

Ah ok, was just going by something I read on Lostpedia. Continuity error then.

tonight/tomorrows ep is Miles centric and is called "Some like it Hoth"

We will find out about the 3.2million he asked ben for apparantly.....miles centric sounds kinda boring if you ask me...hope im wrong though

dr marvin candle is apparently in the episode which usually means it will be a good episode.

Miles centric could be interesting.

It's assumed he is Pierre Chang's son, which could provide some interesting flashbacks.

I look forward to any episode of Lost though, this one should be good. Horace and that will surely notice Ben is gone and look for the traitor. Methinks they could accuse one of Sawyer or Miles, disrupting what they have built there.

did they mention the name of the baby in the first episode this season ??

miles did have a nosebleed before sawyer and co which suggests he's been on the island before.

if he's Pierre Chang's son then there should be two miles in dharmaville which seems unlikely.

Depends on Miles age.

1977 there, he would need to be 29/30ish for baby miles to be on the island.

Miles is still fascinating to me. Be interesting to learn about his background with the island and his father.

Do we have a Faraday centric episode coming up? That would be very interesting.

Who do you lot reckon is the best actor/actress on the show?

Between Michael Emerson, Henry Ian Cusick and Naveen Andrews for me.

Though Josh Holloway has been very good recently. He had a baby the other day.

 I've just seen on LP forums they are saying that Karl is Kate and Rogers son and they are saying the clue is in his name

K.A.R.L = Kate And Roger Linus

That realy is the crazyiest theory I have seen

Terry O'Quinn is a pretty good actor.

Michael Emerson is definately up there with Ben. Not really too fond of Jack's acting. I agree with this Family Guy clip honestly.
