Anyway, can't say the ending surprised me, I actually thought he would have done it earlier, when they were escaping the prison, though I guess breaking the neck of white text would have been a bit too horrid.

But yeah i expected him to break his neck when he was freed, the way he seemed to speed up to white text made me think he was gonna throw his face into the door or something but then he is a child..
No, I was in favour of no-one talking about future spoilers, now it seems like you either have to read all spoilers or not talk about the specific episodes at all. With the middle ground being stupid white text and bashing around the bush.
It doesn't really mean that much to me, I just preferred the way it was before where we could freely talk about what had happened without using white text or reading future spoilers.
Then again, I do like to complain
some people think that ben would be resurrected like locke and one can only become the leader of the others/hostiles if they resurrect.
I reckon he'll be patched up by jack, he is after all the greatest surgeon of all time.

I think it's necessary to bring Ben to the 1970s timeline - remember, he's stuck in the present with Sun (I have no idea why she ended up in the present, but my guess is Ben didn't end up on the island in the 70s because he's alredy there - now that young Ben is dead, it's not an issue anymore). When watching the episode about the purge, I always assumed it happened many years after his encounter with Richard in the jungle. As it turns out, it may have been a whole lot sooner.
Don't want to quote M160RA, since the text will show up, but there's no way that could possibly happen. If young Ben really is dead (which he's not), then obviously he never would have grown up, which means his older self wouldn't exist. In any timeline.
Also, what do you mean about his meeting with Richard, and the purge taking place before it? Or am I getting you wrong there? When he spoke to Sayid, he said he'd already spoken to Richard. He met Richard as a boy, and the purge happened when he was in his early 30s, so it did happen a long time after that.

im the same as you, im ok for spoilers like finding out the losties are back in the 70's or something, but i dont like to be spoiled for say...finales or massive plot twists. Like I remember back in season 1 when Walt got nicked, I didnt see that coming at all and I fecking loved it, that was the most surprised and amazed ive ever felt watching lost...if that was spoiled for me then.....well you know haha

I am a lost watcher for my sins, its one of those that ive started so ill finish. The quality must still be semi decent because I was big into prison break after season one but by the end of season 2/3 I just stopped watching. Its totally shit now. wasted.
Lost is one of those that the journey will be better (by some distance) than the final destination. Enjoy attempting to join the various dots from scenes in their plot line because as I say i cant see a satified audience come the series finale, just too much to complete.
Having read through the thread I'll be disappearing again... I am now one epsisode behind on here by the looks of it and there are too many people who give stuff away even when trying not to.

I have stopped comparing TV shows to Wire. There is never going be another strongly written show like that. It is a bit like comparing every movie to The Godfather.

I was all for a seperate spoiler thread but thats turned out to include future spoilers leaked which I don't like. So this is still the best thread to discuss the most recently aired episode.
Just don't come here for a couple of days till it airs in the UK. You anyways can't discuss much since most of the folk would have already seen the latest episode.
