Liverpool : General discussion

If his demeanor has changed it is probably because he realises just how poor the players are.

Think he's a highly emotional guy. Previously only really used to seeing the grinning, happy Klopp of CL interviews and victories. Seeing both sides now he's here.

i can't take him seriously. he looks like a reject from an abba tribute band.

Has anyone heard the rumours that Klopp didn't actually have his appendix out but was actually flown to meet the owners in America to explain the "catastrophic failure" of this season?

I think they should give Toure a 5yr extention too so that they can sell him in the summer.

I could take him seriously, if only he didn't look like a failed Austin Powers tribute act.

I'd have more time for him if he wasn't a Brendan Rodgers tribute act.

He'd be much easier to take seriously if he didn't look like a reject from a Steppenwolf tribute band.

Jesus Christ .. is nobody capable of cracking a decent line in here ? I'm sure these sounded funny in your heads. Dear me those are awful (the 'bar' joke was almost funny though).

I would take him seriously if he wasn't a failed actor for the Harry Potter role

I'd take him seriously if I wasn't a knee-jerk twit with all the football nous of Mary Berry.

You know what's really funny? Klopp's performance at Liverpool so far.

Anyways :
A very decent performance indeed from most of our 2nd team & returnees from injury (probably the only starter there for the weekend, and he shouldn't be, was Mignolet). All three returnees gave positive performances and Coutinho and Sturridge showed what we've been missing whilst Origi showed quality on the ball and in getting past players from tight marking.
It was also another very impressive outing for our young players, against a full strength West ham team, with some demonstrating that they should now be part of the first team squad, Chiravella (18 yrs old), Stewart (22), Texeira (23), Ilori (22), Smith (21) and not forgetting from the first match Brannagan (19) and Ojo (19). We have a great crop of youngsters coming through with Rossiter (18), Kent (18), Trickett-Smith (19), Harry Wilson (18), Canos (18) and of course those in the squad already; Origi (20), Ibe (20), Gomez (18), Can (21), Ward (22), Flanno (22), Ings (22) and of course Coutinho (23) and Firmino (23) and Grujic (18) due to arrive from his loan in the Summer. A solid base for the next few years.

In the end we were a little unlucky to lose (thanks Benteke) but I'm far from despondent. This year the FAC was most certainly too much on our plate with the EL, LC, PL and the team's instability and lurching from a decent display one match to one that should never have seen the light of day.

Shots in the box tonight:
Liverpool 12
West Ham 8
Christian Benteke 7 (now 673 mins without a goal).

I know Klopp has to support him midway through the season but I seriously hope he's on his way out next Summer. I do rate him as a striker .. but he simply doesn't suit the way Klopp would have us play and that will only get worse once Klopp starts getting his own players in.

I could take him seriously, if only he didn't look like a failed Rafateria tribute act.

Poor. You can do better .. go on I've give you another go.
He can have as many goes as he likes. He doesn't need the permission of some random guy on the internet to make jokes.

So they took out his appendix as a response to his replies?
