Umm when Sir Matt said "except I turned down Liverpool" it was game set and match. Talking about his private life when you should be worshipping Le God just makes that bellend look like a troll tbh. I loved him as a player, totally worshipped him, gutted when he turned us down ..... however that has nothing to do with the point in question which it seems you've totally missed.

In a post going back a few days, I said Leipzig moved goalposts twice. Up until that point Keita and agent have lobbied quietly, subsequently now losing their rag. Tells you all one needs to know about how RBL conduct their business. It's all about publicity for their management - good or bad.

Well, I think it tells you all you need about Liverpool that they dont accept and no and constantly ignoring the statements, so that Leipzig feel forced to tell clueless people like you again and again that they can feck off..shows you how arrogant and desperate they are.

On the other hand saying Liverpool are not a selling club and Coutinho wont be sold at all. The hypocrisy is pretty strong here it seems.

Skill alone isn't enough to justify the tag of 'best English player of all time'. What he had in that department was lost on his lack of workrate, zero pace, & an appalling level of fitness. Based on all that you could put in a shout for Lee Trundle.

There was a Southampton very pre-season friendly & they were duly hammering some Hampshire league side fairly terribly. And our South Coast cameras were there for something or other, feeble new signing something like that. And just as the camera wandered down to the corner flag. They catch Le God as he nonchalantly Cruyff-turn controls a 55 yard diagonal pass as though it was absolutely nothing, quite incredible, honestly. Jaw dropping.

Yeah that's right I consider English speaking and capped L'tiss French! Not the fact that you refer to him as the greatest ever English player. Not to mention he struggled to get a game for England back then but carry on.

Ah so what Trump (for example) does in his private life has nothing to do with his job ? Or a manager or a player ? Of course it does, if they are making a public statement about something then you can not distinguish between their personal and professional lives because one always impacts on the other.

Depends on the club, a lot of posters instinctively say 'no' because their news reporting is trash, but they do have some sources at certain clubs.

Only because he wasn't a top club, everyone rated him over the starters back then. Plenty of England's top players have been neglected by the national side, see Barnes, Hoddle etc while they fielded cloggers who regularly got out played by Ireland.

He was definitely a luxury player but so were many great players. If he played at a top club he'd easily be remembered as one of the best of all time. Few of the best of all time have the type of solo goals he provided. At a top club with better service he would of broken scoring records. Shearer didn't get close to his scoring numbers at Southampton.

Ultimately Le Tis pointed out the obvious hypocricy of Liverpool fans advocating tapping up of players while complaining about the same thing. The same idiots start trying to compare that situation to his private life that they know nothing about

I don't think Le God has advocated sexual assault, so I don't have a problem with him.
