Liverpool 2014/15 | WARNING: Contains strong amounts of Scouse nonsense

Have Liverpool fans completely given up on Lovren? Or is there still hope he can turn it around?

So who's leaking the scouse teams every week and why is this not an issue?

Not absolutely sure, but I think it's just people using bib theory to predict the line-up. Apparantly the first eleven wear different colour bibs in the Thursday training sessions, or something like that. It's not 100% accurate but more often that not it's correct.

Christ if that's true that's the most stupid thing I've ever heard. That's a huge advantage to know who you are playing 2 days ahead.

Surely that can't be how they are getting the leaks, that would be both ridiculous and hilarious.

Just found this site after trying to find out if bib theory is correct. Seems it only works for Saturdays games.

http://thebibtheorists.com/about/

“Why are you called The Bib Theorists?”

That’s a question we have been haunted with since the decision was made. To be short and sweet here is the answer: On a Thursday the club release training photographs from Melwood. In these photos all the players are shown at some point. If a player is seen to be wearing an orange bib, they have been known to be in the starting eleven for that week’s Saturday fixture. This idea was called “Bib Theory”. Therefore we are “The Bib Theorists”. We want to make clear here that we don’t believe Bib Theory as it is very open for change and also the name is created in jest. However, it has been known to be right more than wrong. NOTE: Bib Theory does not work for Sunday games.

I like this quip from another site : Balotelli and Lambert have now dropped below Superstition in the pecking order.

Rodgers line-ups are just completely mental. Why is he playing Borini? Why was he not playing Borini when Lambert was playing each game and looked completely unfit, yet now Lambert and Balotelli are either fit/rested, he is starting Borini?

New signings Balotelli and Lambert are now more out of favour than the guy you've been so desperate to get rid of over these transfer windows?

That's not it. The leaked line-ups have been right for most of this season but the bib theory isn't how they find out any more.

And

Heard that too but I really hope not. He's been really important lately, and deserves to be first choice now.

Our form with him is significantly better than our form without him. Unless we get a great bid or someone great becomes available, then I won't understand it.

The French commentators were talking about it, they were saying Liverpool wouldn't sell unless they received a 'bid they couldn't refuse'. Though I don't know what their sources are.
But mainly shite, let's be frank.

Yeah Lucas is as good as gone. Seems like we're desperately scraping some money together either for Milner, Origi's fee or just saw the mail link us with Nathan Redmond.

Lucas and Gerrard leaving?

Looks Liverpool will need to invest in the middle of the park, invest in cover for Sturridge, invest in a competent defence and a keeper.

So that's them rebuilding for the next 3/4 years.

Liverpool would be mental to sell Lucas. They finally start playing an actual DM and their performances pick-up. I thought he was one of their better players against Sunderland too.

Please give Brenton some more money to spend. Pretty please

Don't agree with rebuilding our defence. Get a pair of goalkeepers, a pair of midfielders and a pair of attackers. It's probably not doable in one summer, but I think the minimum we need is a goalkeeper, a pair of midfielders and an attacker. Perhaps a fullback too.

I'd get rid of Mignolet, Johnson, Toure, Enrique, Balotelli, Borini, Lambert, Assaidi, Aspas, Alberto, Coates and Lucas.

You'd get rid of a few defenders you have without replacing them ?

Oussama Assaidi has been recalled from his loan spell at Stoke City and Liverpool are set to sell him to @alahli_fc for £4.75m. (Telegraph).

Isn't he gone already?

This.

With Champions League football they couldn't attract any quality. Without champions league football they're going to buy more dog shit.

Agree with most of those but not Toure (5-5-1 with him in the team this season) who is a very good 4th CB (unless Ilori returns). I'd also not sell Lucas. €7m is supposedly the going rate and for that money even if he's not a starter next season (and he should be this season) then he's a very good, reliable, backup.

Markovic is beginning to show why we paid £20m for him. He's come on a bomb this last month or so. At just 20 yrs old this kid is going to be a real star in the next 2-3 years.

MoM performance vs Sunderland included a stonewall penalty that even the commentators couldn't believe wasn't given, excellent defensive play all through the match, a fine goal and a superb volley that came off the bar, what a goal that would have been. Just look at his technique getting over it on the run ....and look at Wickham's face after it :)

I would keep Lucas. I worded that sentence badly, I should have said that I think he'll be sold. Unless we get great money or have found a great upgrade, then I wouldn't sell.

So triple our money. He was worth a gamble.

He cost £3m I think, but still agree, that signing has worked out okay.
