Liverpool 2014/15 | WARNING: Contains strong amounts of Scouse nonsense

He has always half been one. Didn't Rodgers criticise his effort in training last year ? Maybe that is linked to all the niggly injuries he picks up.

Not sure mate. He does seem to get alot of those niggly ones though. Makes the Balotelli deal look even better.

England ‏@england3h
Daniel Sturridge felt an injury in training this morning and will go for a scan this afternoon. He will then be assessed by England medics

Daniel Sturridge has suffered 4 injuries whilst playing at LFC. All sustained whilst playing or training for England.

No surprise he picks up more injuries when he plays for that dinosaur, a guy who said he played Sturridge while injured in the past to test out how brave he was ffs :D

Rumours that Studge is out for the usual 4-6 weeks we get from him.

BBC Gossip section says he is out until Christmas, is this true?

I really f*cking hate Hodgson. It's always when on England duty.

The bloated lesbian pissbag then has the gall to talk about how at least the players are getting injured at the right time (not for major tournaments) when it's his careless use of them in fecking friendlies that causes this.

feck off Roy.

The gossip is just taken from a paper and we all know the journalists are a bunch of drama queens on there if they say until Christmas he should be playing by the end of the month.

Pinched.

Seems as though LES mixed up Siem De Jong and Studge.
De Jong is out for 4 months, while Studge has a grade 1 tear.
Thats 1-3 weeks. Same as Guardian/Mirror.

Yep. Just the 8 game/10 game/4 month suspensions for him.

Yes Suarez was a cnut, we all know that. No need to get a T-Shirt campaign going...

I'm on about his injury record. The guy was super fit. Sturridge doesn't seem to be.

I feel for Liverpool with Sturridge. He does always tend to get injuries or niggles when playing with England in pointless games.

I would imagine with a tear he will be out for a month (including time to get back to match fitness). Probably miss 3 games with the start of the Champions League approaching. Not the end of the world at all for them given they have Balotelli and can play with just the one striker, which is what I would do as opposed to playing Lambert.

Liverpool did rather well with injuries to their top players last season. Would be interesting to see how they coped with 4-6 first team players out.

The ones in Red are the matches he's likely to miss (inc. getting back to match fitness). That gap from the 4th to the 19th is another International break .... and I'll be doing my own breaking ...... Budgie into a handful of feathers ...... if he selects him without having any match practice.

Sturridge tends come back in excellent form immediately when injured

7 games out? Would be excellent news.

Balotelli and Lambert. :)
Don't get too excited ;)

We'll change our formation and go with one up top (Balo) and behind him Sterling, and 2 from Allen / Lallana / Markovic or Coutinho, plus Henderson and Gerrard.

Cool. Either way it's not as good as Suarez & Sturridge.

They should win most of the matches comfortably enough even without him. Only difficult ones are Everton and maybe West Ham away.

You should win the majority of those games quite comfortably, bar maybe Everton but their defence can take a beating.

Mignolet in nets is a fecking emergency situation.

THE glaring concern in an otherwise upwards curve. Not sure about him at all, pulls off some amazing saves but look a bag of nerves. To be fair de Gea has gone from being a bit of a joke in his first season to top drawer, so who knows?

The Telegraph have said 'up to three weeks' and the Guardian say 'two to three'. I also think he'll come back immediately when healed.

I think de Gea's first season was too harshly criticised - he's better now than he was then but he wasn't as error prone as people make out. Plus he was excellent before at Atlético.

Agree on the doubts about Mignolet though, getting Valdés in would be a huge improvement if he's anything like his pre-injury self.

We'll beat them too. It's at Anfield.
That's what I was implying, their defence is weak, as demonstrated by Chelsea so I think even without Sturridge you could give them a hiding.

Man City lost at home to Stoke last week so anything is possible. The more injuries (to key players) the better for opposition fans and the less injuries the better for Liverpool fans.

So Henderson has limped out of England training now too. Not sure how serious it is yet, but still, can international football feck off already? Fed up of England always wrecking our players.

Can't beat a few injuries, means the new signings can be integrated faster and Rodgers can show his mettle. Wait till your in double figures.

Hodgson is definitely unconsciously incompetent. The worst of the four groups, and the most damaging to himself and (more importantly) others.

Henderson will probably play and subsequently limp off with a seriously damaged ankle tomorrow. Can't wait for Switzerland to win this group. Just need Slovenia to quickly progress through as well so we're all saved (Pool, Utd, English fans, everyone) from his senility.

Don't take too much glee from this. Your glass house may be in danger of repossession or breakage.

He's a bigger loss than Sturridge. Any word on how long he's out for?

Nope, being assessed tomorrow but only a doubt for the England game at this stage. Worst case scenario is probably as Dumbstar said, they risk an unfit Henderson and feck his ankle up.
