Now that Messi has more goals in la liga he'll probably not bother posting for a few weeks. You know in the same way he was nowhere to be seen when Ronaldos transfer was completed...

Again, somehow CL goals don't count...

Also, at least hold yourself till Real play...

Frankly, why do you insist on keep going on in this thread?

I don't think anyone at the Caf are in doubt how much you admire and rate Messi. By keep harping on about it, you only comes across as an obsessive teenager.

 yeah like you did on the first game of the season when Messi wasnt playing.

Messi 3 games 5 goals 2 assists 2 MOTM awards.

Ronaldo 3 games 4 goals 0 assists 0 MOTM awards.

Sorry cal?

Ronaldo 1 game 2 goals in CL

Messi 1 game 0 goal in CL

Sorry FV?

Btw, have you been handing out these MoTM awards?

You might as well give Messi 38 for La Liga, afterall, he was the best player on the pitch in that first game he didn't play, wasn't he?

I find it hard to resist cnut, cal and co are just too stupid. I think if i show them how stupid they are on an almost daily basis they might eventually realize they are that stupid and then maybe stop bieng so stupid...

This from the person who struggles with the difference between FACT and OPINION.

Now Messi's 2 goals and assist yesterday were fantastic, much better than the ones against Atheletico.

Madrid's first competitive fixture tonight, should be interesting to see how they do. But this league is ridiculously uncompetitive so Madrid will probably win quite comfortably.

You have no right to call anybody stupid when you blatantly believe that Ronaldo has been playing above himself for the past 3 seasons. The fact that he's been consistent in form proves absolutely otherwise.

i said 2 seasons actually. He wasnt as good last season as he was in the 2 before it. THis season is very early who knows what will happen or how good anyone will be in the long run...

I'll admit i'm wrong when i'm proven wrong.

Right now i consider Ronaldo as one of the best players in the world. I have done since his first great season.

Just not as good as Ronaldo.

Cool, if he consistently plays to the level of 07/08 i'll hold my hand up.
In La Liga he can't fail to. He, Messi, Kaka and Zlatan are gonna murder that league. I'l be shocked if the top 3 for world player of the year this season comes from any other league.

The league is just getting started, as are their teams and look how much they've scored or created amongst the 4 of them.

& 2 are league newbies:eek:

Then think Messi-Zlatan:drool:

Ronaldo-Kaka-Benzema:drool:

La liga is just something else this year.

I feel sorry for all the other teams.

I cant watch the game tonight featuring madrid. I'll watch highlight though, Villarreal have started poorly and with Peligrini knowing them inside out i cant see anything but a Madrid win. However Villarreal are a threat to any side as proven in not conceding against United ever (or however many games it is now) and having some genuine quality.

Should be an interesting match. It's like a battle of goal difference for top spot although i'd say Madrid have had the easier games which is just what they need whilst bedding in a new side.

As has been pointed out many times, United never needed to win any of those games, United put in a similar performance against in the CL matchday 1 too.

TBF going by their runs of last season. It matters little who they or Barca face. The out come is almost always confirmed if they are in reasonable form. With goals a plenty for the victors. They are both just so much better than everyone else.

La Liga is rapidly becoming Rangers vs Celtic part 2. Unfortunately.

I wish an Atletico could hire someone of Mourinho's caliber and a Valencia could sort themselves out financially. For the current state of affairs will really dampen the domestic achievements of the current Barca side and the new REAL galacticos when they come to the party.

they wont just go the whole season winning games at a canter. Both sides will face an in form Valencia, Atletico, Sevilla etc and have tough matches. Then the derby matches which can always throw up a surprise.

Here are some highlights of another Messi performance.

Even the tough sides like Villareal and Atletico will be brushed aside. They just can't compete with the array of weapons the big 2 have.

Morale of the story: Messi is Jesus

You really need to take a look in the mirror before calling cal a retard.

In fact, the hypocrisy and contradiction of that post is astounding.

You slate Cal because he has a different opinion to your own, and then plead that its not fair because you have a differing opinion on the matter.

The fact of the matter is, Messi is no genius. Neither is Ronaldo. Its no coincidence that since Xabi and Inniesta have turned it up in a big way, Messi has started latching on to goals and looking amazing. If Rooney or Berbatov were getting the same quality of ball with the defenses of La Liga, they would look just as good in front of goal.

What Messi is good at, is opening up space through his close dribbling and bouncing off the attackers. Giggs has been doing it for years as well, but because he's just some Welsh kid, its nothing special. And again, you look at Messi on the international front and he's not a shade on himself. He struggles because he doesn't have the support play of Barcelona.

On the Ronaldo side, he's constantly lifting for Portugal. He and Nani are really the two stars of that side. If Portugal are to make the world cup, Ronaldo will have to be the player to step up and I have no doubt that he will.

While I do like Messi, if it were the world cup final in the final minute of extra time. Scores leveled at 1-1, I would rather have Ronaldo on my side. Out of the two, he's the most dangerous outside the box and the best at creating something from nothing.

In connection with this post, I shall recite to all in due order what I have heard from St Peter in days of yore.

One Sunday noon Jesus was seated on the Stretty end in a pensive yet relaxed mood...

He summoned Ronaldo "O Sinned one what dost say then"

Ronaldo said "O regenerate one I am a retard in leaving the best club in the Universe for a facist shitehouse, I am runnin outta luck now... very day, on occasions of obtaining my benedictions, when, Right now I am engaged in the performance of rites on Fergies behalf... grant me the boon."

Jesus said "Come hither stand on my right, Beg of me whatever boon thou desirest"

He summoned Torres "O Wretched one, what dost say then"

Torres wept "I was swindled by Rev Rafa and St Stevie that forced me a contract which locked me in a cesspool...."

Jesus said "No worries son, come hither, stand on my left, Beg of me whatever boon thou desirest"

Messi was passing by... The lord was thrilled "O young Leo the foremost of all male beings, there is no one like unto any of you. O ye of unbaffled prowess, what dost say then"

The holy one replied "You're seated in my throne"

Whilst I don't like Messi, I wouldn't wish him an early death like that. :nono:

Messi on top....Rooney, Drogba, Zlatan, Xavi, Torres in no particular order are all having better seasons than Ronaldo.

 Clearly, Ronaldo is so good he's having a mediocre season and still outscoring everyone.
