i'd happily make such a thread but you do realize it would be completely over taken with people talking about Ronaldo.

I still think Barcelona have a superior team which would play a key part. As long as Madrid play Raul (He is past it and is probably the slowest striker in world football at the moment and hinders the front line overall even if he does score a fair few) upfront whilst Barcelona are playing Zlatan or Eto'o and as long as Madrid are utilizing Gago (no real engine, gets shown up for it in big games countlessly) to dictate midfield whilst Barcelona are unleashing Xavi and Iniesta, Madrid can not compete.
If Madrid do bring in Xabi Alonso and ease Raul slowly out of the team I think the service would be perfect for Ronaldo to score more than Messi because I think he does offer a better goal threat.

There are some risks to it, but I think Ronaldo's ability to score is quite ahead of Messi, hence he'd still finish ahead in the scoring even when playing for a lesser team.
Probably Cal? Messi isnt there to score goals. I wouldnt be surprised if Ronaldo did manage more goals. But then i'd imagine an out and out striker would score more, Eto'o/Ibra, Benzema etc.

The fact that the rest of the Barca team last season is better than the rest of the United team the year before should be clear enough to everyone.
I'm no Messi lover, but there is no way Ronaldo was `clearly` better than Messi. Ronaldo's performances in 06-07 are much closer to Messi's last season than 07-08.
