Would be brilliant
That's not that impressive. What's really impressive is that I read your post and it made me change my vote from Alonso to him before seeing the news myself.
Jamie Jackson reported that a few hours ago. Clearly wasn't accurate.Guardian seem to be running with the story that Frank is favourite, yet Ornstein and co seem to think we're deep into negotiations with Amorim? Granted I definitely trust the latter more over the Guardian (especially after that clown Steinberg dropped the ball on Ten Hag being sacked in the summer).
Yes, it’ll help him stay on the bench when Amorim takes Hjulmand with himShould help Ugarte as well.
City/Liverpool have shown in recent years it's still good to have managerial stability if you can find it - the model of a heavily involved, long-term manager isn't exactly dead, it's just not the be all and end all.
I can't accept a manager that is younger than me. It makes me uncomfortable.
He cant be any more undroppable, but hopefully he can get coached better!Wonder if Bruno gets a best friend in now and gets even more undroppable.
Not sure whoever we bring in stands a chance, truth be told.
I said as much when Ole left, when Ten Hag signed on, and I’ve seen very little to change my mind.
A good pay day and opportunity for some sap out there, if anything.
I was one month out and I am sooooooo pleased I was.My take is that ETH got a new contract simply to buy the club some time to find a new manager. I think the short term heir apparent is RVN. He's a club legend, has won a league in Holland and comes across like a football person rather than a farmer. I think ETH loses his job close to December time, RVN takes over and gets an audition if you like, but he may again be a play for time, unless he orchestrates a massive turn around and we see a team playing as they should be able to, qualifying for the CL in the process.
Not sure whoever we bring in stands a chance, truth be told.

Why do you chose to believe this when it's not true? Liverpool fans said this for 30 years and then they got Klopp. City fans said it for 60 years, and then they got Pep. Chelsea fans didn't know success until Jose came along. Not sure whoever we bring in stands a chance, truth be told.

The managers we've and aren't anywhere near as good as those names. Let's find one and see what happens. Every managerial change is a chance at finding the right manager instead of some joker who doesn't know what he's doing.
The players want to buy in, they want to win. If he comes in with some great ideas and starts winning games they'll trust him. If his ideas are shit and don't translate well to the PL then he'll be in trouble.Hopefully Amorim can quickly gain the confidence and trust from the players. Feels like we may need someone with a bit more experience (as in the traditional top 4-6 leagues) and weight behind them. Erik was of the same guild from the Dutch league, especially a mid season appointment - you need to galvanise quickly to build momentum.
Our fans have accepted mediaocracy, our standards right now are lower than they ever have been at Liverpool in the last 30 years. Ten Hag was under little to no pressure from the match going fans. You ask and answer. City, Liverpool and Chelsea fans had low expectations, which made life easier for the new manager.
We expect wins from day 1, “we” the fanbase of the biggest club in the world. And not winning means dramatic headlines from the media that we love to read.
There is absolutely no one out there that I really fancy for the job. Unai Emery is the only one I'd go, OK. I'd also have Mourinho back.

Based on his Ajax side and the football he was playing there, he was a stand out candidate. He just chucked all of that in the bin as soon as he turned up, how do you even legislate for that as a club?
Can he be a club manager and national team manager at the same time ?I don't know, man, many were adamant Yoro wasn't choosing United over Real Madrid and there was no way United would get him. Well, that's not what happened. I don't believe he will come either, but if there ever was a time it's probably now. Far enough from 2026 and with little happening international wise. He might decide to instead come back into the club game rather than twiddle his thumbs for months.

You’ve been playing to much FM.Can he be a club manager and national team manager at the same time ?
I'd love to know who your choice was at the time if you consider Ten Hag the "hipster vote" when he was at Ajax and admired by majority of the footballing world. He really wasn't there were too many questions but the sane people were shouted down by people blind to the fact he was fifty still in the Dutch league and he inherited most of that Ajax team.
As for the football he managed a team that outspent it's rivals ten to one. There would be something wrong if they couldn't look decent.
He was a bad choice and a lot of people knew that at the time but the hipster vote was louder.
That's what I thought. Nagelsman is not leaving his national team job unless he totally fecked it up.You’ve been playing to much FM.

Strongly looking like Amorim now, let’s hope he proves us right. It’s a big step up, so we’ll see. Quite right though, we simply needed to move on from ETH and quickly.
No chance. City already made the move by appointing Sporting DOF. It's a done deal to City.
Hope the deal finalize soon. He is a great coach. I'm so happy to be wrongThat attempt at reverse psychology worked a treat
I wonder if INEOS were using this algorithm as well
Why?
