Let's all laugh at England

Completely lack of respect for the teams they still needed to play against to win it. And although the England NT has quality, they barely did anything as a team that could convince anyone without any doubt that they would be the team lifting the trophy.
Football fans have been singing optimistic football songs since year dot. This is all getting very silly.

I disagree; a penalty shootout doesn't mean "winning a game", not then, not now. Italy has won this Euro with two consecutive 1-1 draws (and then the pens). I actually rate Portugal 2016 higher.
Correct. Last night's match was a draw. It's how it's always been.

Only England could go through the entire tournament without losing a game and still fail to win the damn thing
If he could only get a little more positvie in his outlook, he would be on to something. He's cracked the defence part, now comes to harder thing to do.

That doesn't explain the big celebrations and happiness for Pogba when he won the WC with France, whilst 5 of our English players are getting slaughtered and laughed at after losing the Euros.
I’ve seen you mention Pogba a few times in this thread, and you were also in the Martial thread calling those who defend him ‘fanboys’ the other day, so just to be clear, your mantra seems to be to support our players, even when they’re not playing for United, unless they’re not English?

To determine who lifts the trophy after a draw. I mean, people must get home eventually.

In the 2008 Champions league, who won and who lost?

I agree about the reason being so that people can eventually get home, and I'm not a super fan of it as a way to decide games, but it still determines who wins and who loses.

As I've said, it was a draw and Manchester Utd lifted the UCL trophy after a penalty shootout.

In 1999, Manchester United defeated Bayern M. (2-1).

I was disappointed with the result and angry at Southgate but some of the comments from the anti England brigade have made me chuckle.

Its pleasing to see people are still triggered by 'It's coming home'. They were the same for the Cricket World Cup. Good god, it's a joke to us England fans, it's sang and said in jest, if you get triggered by it then maybe you need take a look at yourself. We'll still be singing it at the World Cup (if we qualify) next year so it's not going away!

Also you think we are 'cocky'? Why because some fans and the media (which us England fans hate with a passion!) say stupid things? Most fans support England and want them to win, we got to the final so were supporting our team however also knew we had a negative manager. It was only a couple of weeks ago Scottish fans were celebrating a draw like they won the whole thing!

Games at Wembley. Take that up with UEFA, it's their decision. If England finished second in their group they would have played less at Wembley. I personally thought the several cities hosting was stupid and should not happen again. If you want to complain Wales went to Baku, it's nothing to do with England.

Coverage of 66 etc. Yeah its the last trophy we won so we keep going back it. It shows how far has gone since we won something so its mentioned perhaps alot more than needed but again nothing untoward meant by it.

The Draw. Again not sure why people blaming England here. It's not their fault Spain couldn't top their group over Sweden. Most anti English and some English thought they would go out to the team from the Group of Death. When they beat Germany, it changed to 'its the worst German team in years'. France must have thought they had a great draw with Austria but look how that turned out. That's how a tournament works folks, winning teams go into the next round. You can't moan about it if you favourite teams don't win.

The fans and booing. Yeah we have idiotic and braindead fans like any other country. There was a massive move from a number of people on social media to stop the booing. Its fecking stupid. The fans acting like they did in London and at the stadium are fecking stupid. Most England fans think the same. There are always small numbers of fans like the ones for other countries making monkey chants and other racist comments. Wasn't long ago Scottish fans were complaining of racist abuse by a Czech player (which other Czech players said he did nothing wrong).

I don't agree with people being 'told' to support their national country, they can support whoever the feck they want.

So, "It's coming home" now officially more infamous than "Mes que un club" ?

Argentina winning the Copa America the night before was a bad omen, anyway.

For a neutral there was never any option on whom to support. Just see the difference, italy is the clear winner.
